- Powerful V6 engine, impressive handling, offers a lot of bang-for-the-buck.

Fun and Fast - 2003 Nissan 350Z
By allsupm - June 27 - 2:00 amI use this car mostly for fun, but occasionally drive it to work. (36 mi round trip) I always enjoy driving it! It is a sports car, and doesnt attempt to be anything else. That is as it should be. It does all a sports car should do, and it does it well.

some quility/dealer problems - 2003 Nissan 350Z
By Mike - February 3 - 11:20 amGreat looks, nice handling(have the track model), crappy build quality. I had this thing in for minor things....it just gets annoying. The dealer refused to fix my faulty window regulator under warrentey becuase I had after market speakers installed. Even though its a known problem. It took 5 trips to Devon Nissan to fix it. After my first trip it got stuck in the down position on a 300 mile trip. Huge after market....I have $10,000 invested in the suspension/brakes/dvd/stereo. It is a sweet set up and grabs attention everywhere. I buy a new car every 12 months so this one is being replaced. Honestly it will probably be my last Nissan due to the build quility and horrible dealer ex

Investigate before you by - 2003 Nissan 350Z
By ovi17 - January 26 - 10:00 amInitially this car was awesome, and it still is with some exceptions. The car is fun to drive but Im having some problems that are giving me a headache. Here are some of the problems: Alignment issues right off the lot, excessive paint chipping on hood and bumper, transmission noise when in neutral. Read the forums before buying.

Enthusiast Silver 2003 edition - 2003 Nissan 350Z
By georgyo - November 10 - 10:00 amThis is my second Nissan, Overall, it is a great sports car, gets a lot of attention driving and performs well. Had the OEM battery replaced already after 1 year since it had a bad cell and would not start. The interior plastic feels kind of hollow in center console. It is very hard to see rear objects for sure while backing up. It is rather easy to update Audio\Video components in this car!

Love/hate relationship - 2003 Nissan 350Z
By RedwoodZ - September 21 - 6:56 amFun car to drive but ours came with too many shortcomings for us to be happy with it. As mentioned in other Z groups, the dealer plays dumb with the problems -- in our case the front end / tire problem and a 6 speed that has chronic shifting problems from 1>2. Trannie has been replaced once. The front end has had the TSB "fix". With new tires, the noise is returning after about 4000 miles. The seat covers were replaced at less than 12000 miles! And last but not least, burning premium gas these days is very hard on the pocketbook. We had an 88 300Z we owned until we traded it in on 350Z. After our current nightmare, we wont be owning any more Nissans.

Nissan doesnt support their products - 2003 Nissan 350Z
By NoMoreNissan - June 28 - 1:20 pmThe entire experience of owning this car is ruined by Nissans attitude towards owners of cars with the infamous tire feathering problems. In my case, Nissan has proven to stoop to any level in order to avoid taking responsibility for this lemon. Lying, fabricating stories, etc. Ill never own another Nissan product again. Im currently preparing to file suit against Nissan since they havent fixed the car after 6 opportunities. They continue to repair the car, all the while claiming that there is nothing wrong with it. Ha!

Nissan 350Z - 2003 Nissan 350Z
By Carol & Ron - April 21 - 2:00 amWhen I first bought this car I really loved it, but not Im not too happy with it lately. Having problems with Front End Noise. Brought it in and Nissan said there was a recall on it stating the noise is from the tires. There recommendation was fliping the tires from side to side and front alignment (I only had 6000 miles on the car). When I got the car back it was worse than before. There next suggestion was turn up the radio so I wouldnt hear the noise. Didnt make me happy. I also had problems with my breaks squeezing really bad. - they said it was normal.

By robert - June 23 - 12:03 pmthe car has had countless trips to the dealer for tranny, clutch, suspension, window motors, and audio....all of it has been replaced once or more times! There is countless tsbs on the vehicle as well, i suggest if you get a z get an 06 because i heard that they have improved most of the problems.

C my Z - 2003 Nissan 350Z
By Charles White - May 20 - 10:00 amNothing else on the road looks like a Z. A pure and simple head-turner. And the way it handles moving in and out of traffic, and mountain roads is agile as a cat. The rear suspension brace keeps the wheels on the road even in wet weather (within reason, of course) The manual transmission is quick and solid. If you invest in leather seats, you wont be disappointed. Mine had to have a fuel tank pressure regulator valve replaced at less than 10000 miles, but no other problems.
