This Year's Model Updates:

Nissan adds a roadster to the 350Z lineup. Available in Enthusiast and Touring variants, the 2004 Nissan 350Z roadster offers the same performance and handling as the Z coupe but with the added fun of top-down driving. In other news, satellite radio (either XM or Sirius) is a new option this year for the Touring version of the coupe.

Pros:
  • Smooth and powerful V6 engine, excellent handling, available drop-top version, a bargain compared to anything that can run with it.
Cons:
  • Rough ride on Track model, some low-grade interior materials, lack of luggage space, poor rearward visibility.

  • Not the Soccer Mom Van - 2004 Nissan 350Z

Excellent! Need I say more? I have always wanted and wished for a "Z" but with three children the momma van was it... finally, what I wanted! Drives like a dream, handles well, and at four yrs old, still has the reliability to back it all up. People stare. Great sports coupe for the money

Had the 6 speed manual coupe for 3 months then got roadster automatic. Both incredible in their own right. Hold the road like glue. Smooth powerful pick up from any speed. Awesome stereo sound even with top down. Great wind protection in roadster. Fun factor for both cars: 10+++

Incredibly fun to drive. Power to spare. Complaints about poor rear view visibility are overstated... no worse that any other convertible. Smoothest shifting that Ive ever experienced and throaty, powerful acceleration.

very tight, suspension is overly hard, however, handles curves @ turns extremely well...first gear is too low, most starts can be made in 2nd. Brembo brakes are killer.....

  • 04 350Z Is The Best Buy--AWESOME - 2004 Nissan 350Z

Just bought my Z roadster and am in love with the car. Best Z yet,no doubt from the moment you crank up the throaty motor/dual exhaust. For those looking for confidence when u need to pass traffic, this is the SPORTS CAR to do it with and have fun while youre doing it. Top-down is very quick, efficiently quiet in just under 20 seconds. Handling could not be better. Hope to run with the top down as we ease into spring over the next two months.

  • Better Than the Boxter - 2004 Nissan 350Z

The 350Z is nice to drive and handles well. I have had 2001 and 2003 Porsche Boxters and 911s in the past. Several with a manual and one a Tiptronic. The 350 Z is easy $10k less also. This car has much more interior room and head room. The performance is also excellent. Plenty of scoot for cruising and passing. Nice glass rear window. It is fairly quiet for a convertable when driving with the top up or down.

  • The Car of My life - 2004 Nissan 350Z

I have been waiting for Nissan to build another Sport car and BUILD ONE they did! This is the best one of all the Z cars I have ever owned including my Alfa and two Datsun 2000s. It drives like a true competion car. It accelerates like none I have ever driven. The Tiptronic Xmission is out of this world, the brakes, handling all that make up a true Sport car Is there!!
