This Year's Model Updates:

Enhancements for the 2005 Nissan 350Z include a standard tire-pressure monitor, heated outside mirrors and a driver-seat height adjuster for both front and rear portions of the bottom cushion. Clutch pedal effort has been reduced this year, and the five-speed automatic transmission now features downshift rev matching. The navigation system has a faster processor for improved route calculation times. A special 35th Anniversary edition includes 18-inch alloy wheels, Brembo brakes, front chin spoiler, rear spoiler, available two-tone leather seats and a choice of three exterior colors, including a new Ultra Yellow. A slight bump in horsepower is also part of the package.

Pros:
  • Smooth and powerful V6 engine, excellent handling, available drop-top version, a bargain compared to anything that can run with it.
Cons:
  • Rough ride on Track model, some low-grade interior materials, lack of luggage space, poor rearward visibility.

It is fun and stylish. But expect other drivers to be jealous. The exterior view of this car is sporty, sexy and intimidating to viewers.

ive always had my eye on a 911, but the minute i sat down, buckled up, and took off (and i mean TOOK OFF)i knew this was Z Car for me. the handling- SUPERB-took it out on Hwy 49 back roads to Tahoe opened her up and away we went, smooth transition from inside corner to outside open lane. be prepared for stares. I travel extensively for my job - and this is the car i WANT to be in every single mile. Handling SUPER. Safety GREAT. Cost OUTSTANDING for 287hp. Comfort EXCELLENT (especially the seating - you fit like a glove). Get use to the stares, nose prints on your windows from admirers and having many try to challenge you as you motor along...

For your money, the best 2-seat sports car on the market. Great styling with close to 300hp to back it up. The last 4 months and 5,000 miles down the road, I enjoy getting behind the wheel each and every day that my wife lets me. We are both very happy with our purchase. We bought the Z and Murano SUV at the same time. The service at our dealership is excellent and we dont regret our decision on either vehicle. The Z leather interior is comfortable and the Touring package seating is fine for 2-4 hour drives both in the city and on the freeway. The Z gets plenty of compliments from lookers and the only thing I would add would be a 19" chrome wheel package.

I never thought I would say it...AWESOME! I have never had more fun driving a car. I got a great deal (saved $20,000.00) off the price of a new one. Test drove both and could not justify the price difference to buy a new one. This car has it all. Pleased and in my favorite color...RED!

Fast, fun - get lots of compliments all the time everywhere I go. Went to lease blue, came home with black. Love the dash, foot pedals and overall appearance of the car. Mileage is OK, depends on how you drive it (lead foot = lower mileage). Normal driving nets better mileage, but its hard to stay under the speed limit. Would have leased a new one, but the dealers arent dealing, so Im going to keep mine with low mileage, 3,000 mile oil changes and hand washed since I brought her home. Shes a keeper.

  • Fun and Dependable - 2005 Nissan 350Z

I love this car! I bought a brickyard color, 2003 touring model back in december 2004 and would gladly do it again. The car was purchased sight unseen from a dealer in Skokie, IL. I live in Alabama. I shopped around the internet for months until I found the best deal I thought I could get. I specifically wanted the burgundy color and an automatic with all the goodies. The car was shipped down here and I have been delighted with it since its arrival. I would definitely recommend this type of car for someone who wants to have fun while driving but also wants to know they are buying a reliable product.

  • Go out a buy a Z, well worth the money. - 2005 Nissan 350Z

From the dealership, the ride back which was 700 miles was smooth, firm but not bumpy. I was impressed with the 23.6 miles per gallon at 75 to 80mph all the way back home. Passing other vehicles is beyond a breeze. Having gone from a Corvette to this 350Z for 20000 dollar less, makes absolute sense. Very and I mean very similar qualities. Very comparable

I LUV MY Z, ITS FAST, AN EYE CATCHER, BUT I HATE THE BRAKES. AT 8000 MILES, I ALREADY HAD TO RESURFACE THE ROTORS, THE DEALER DID NOT CHANGE THE PADS, AND IT STILL SQUEAKS!! THEY TOLD ME THAT THE PADS WERE STILL GOOD & ITS ONLY THE GLAZE. BALONEY!!THEY SHOULD OF REPLACED MY PADS TOO!!MY HUSBAND WAS READY TO TRADE IT IN FOR A BMW.I SAID,IT DOESNT HAVE THE LOOK LIKE THIS CAR.SO,I WILL CONTINUE TO DRIVE IT UNTIL THE BRAKES FALL APART,THEN THE DEALER WILL SAY ITS TIME TO CHANGE THE PADS! BUT HOW FAST CAN YOU GO ON THE 91 FRWY IN CORONA CALIF? MAYBE 10 MPH!!!
