This Year's Model Updates:

Enhancements for the 2005 Nissan 350Z include a standard tire-pressure monitor, heated outside mirrors and a driver-seat height adjuster for both front and rear portions of the bottom cushion. Clutch pedal effort has been reduced this year, and the five-speed automatic transmission now features downshift rev matching. The navigation system has a faster processor for improved route calculation times. A special 35th Anniversary edition includes 18-inch alloy wheels, Brembo brakes, front chin spoiler, rear spoiler, available two-tone leather seats and a choice of three exterior colors, including a new Ultra Yellow. A slight bump in horsepower is also part of the package.

Pros:
  • Smooth and powerful V6 engine, excellent handling, available drop-top version, a bargain compared to anything that can run with it.
Cons:
  • Rough ride on Track model, some low-grade interior materials, lack of luggage space, poor rearward visibility.

  • Awesome Ride! - 2005 Nissan 350Z

This is my third Z and I am more impressed each time. Ive had a hardtop, T-tops, and now a convertible. I absolutely love it and cant wait to until the next time I can take it for a spin. I take the long way home just to make the experience last longer. My Z totally makes my day and improves my mood after a long hard day at the office. I actually can forget about work once I get in. Its fast and fun. Taking corners is a blast! It absolutely rocks! So much thinking has gone into this car. Get the GPS, especially if you are logistically disadvantaged! The stereo is impressive. Its beyond an incredible value. At this price point, its a major steal!

This is a wonderful convertible. Lots of power and handles like a dream. The one drawback is interior room. If youre a big/tall boy you may feel cramped.

one of the funnest cars to drive ive had in a while. the cornering is amazing.the interior is nice and geared toward the driver. stereo is not bad but can fit a kenwood dvd nicely. real eye turner, expect compliments.

As a pilot and a driving enthusiast I find the Z a perfect sports car. The suspension is tight and the handling is extremely responsive. I can max perform the car and still feel totally in control of all parameters. The engine performance is so very impressive providing a smooth torque curve and extremely quick response. The troaty sound of the exhaust system keeps you informed of the engines performance but most of all it just sounds great! I considered the BMW Z-4 but the styling of the 350 is better and the cost is $5,000.00 less with equal or better performance.

I am 49 and waited for a car that caught my atttention well 350z did just that. The performance in this car is life changing. Every time I drive this car I cannot help but smile I find the long way to go to and from where ever I am heading. I have owned 7 Corvettes and this car out passes all my expectations. It is soild responsive and just plain beautiful. The interior is hugs your body. Details are all over the car even in the AC vent with the Z in the vents. The one touch roof opening in the roadster is awsome. I love this car and recommend it. Worth every cent I paid.

Having finally crossed over to a 2- seater after many years/makes of the Maxima...Ive learned the driving experience like that from the Z easily makes up for not having a back seat. Sooo much fun to drive. Get a Z and never look back!

Dont even think about driving it if you arent planning to buy it. Because once you drive it...youll fall in love. Its so quick, sleek, and sexy I knew we have to buy it. Weve had no problems in our first year of ownership, only pure joy and admiration for such a beautiful machine. My husband and I are both 6 tall and are comfortable as can be. If youre interested in hauling a bunch of stuff around, this car is not for you, but I take it weekly to get groceries and its perfect. We did store it over the winter as it doesnt do well on Snow, but it handles like a champ in rain. Its a sportscar, so dont expect a sedan ride...its low to the ground and bumpy. But...worth it!

From the day I drove off the car lot I have never had such a great driving experience as I have had with my 350Z. I have driven many performance cars and the 350Z is the best.

The Car drives great.. looks great and its amazingly fun to drive.. the only thing that goes against it is definitely the visibility and the luggage space.. but then again IT IS a sports car.. you didnt buy it to transport supplies.

  • I like it! - 2005 Nissan 350Z

Love the Z. It load, firm, fast, and fun. I commute in mine every day 60 mile each way. I get an average of 28 mpg, I have seen 31 mpg on the freeway and 19 around town. I have owned Mazda and Mercedes roadsters and this is by far the best. Others have complained of blind spots. I have none, you just have to set the mirrors correctly. I will buy again.
