Overview & Reviews
A new higher-performance Mitsubishi Eclipse joins the lineup for 2003. Dubbed the GTS, its 3.0-liter V6 has 10 more horses than the same engine found under the hood of the GT, and a number of luxury features justify its standing as the top Eclipse. A new front fascia along with revised front and rear light clusters round out the changes.
- Distinctive styling, plenty of standard equipment, V6 power in GT and GTS trim.

The greatest thing since Snickers! - 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse
By Darkillusionz19 - December 9 - 10:00 amIn my personal opinion this vehicle is very SWEET! it handles like a dream, it has enormous power for a 6-cylander, the body style looks aggressive enough to scare down a stock car. The interior is one of a kind with its technical style. As far as mileage per gallon its great for a 6. Overall this car is extraordinary!

Fun - 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse
By Patricia Gaul - October 28 - 10:00 amI have never owned a sports car before, so it is hard to compare. I love the way it looks, though. It is not a family car so you cant criticize the small back seat. It handles very well and has lots of pick up for a 4 cyl. The gas mileage is also impressive.

Fast and Fun - 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse
By Paul in Massachusett - September 28 - 10:00 amThe body design is outstanding. Its a future classic. The 6 cylinder 5 speed manual has a lot of get up and go. For the price, it beats the competition hands down. Just be ready for everyone that pulls up next to you at a light. They all want to race you.

Better than expected gas mileage - 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse
By IowaWinters - September 11 - 10:03 pmOther than maintenance items this car has been super reliable. It sits low to the ground but still got around in 7.5 inches of snow this winter. Granted I have pretty new tires on it! Stock brake rotors are crap - invest in some nice aftermarket ones. I put on drilled and slotted rotors and can stop on a dime! This summer I think Ill figure out why the A/C drips on my foot. Have heard the A/C vent tube can get clogged on these. Got 114,500 miles on it now and hope to get at least 200,000 out of it!

Awsome - 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse
By heyu415 - August 23 - 10:00 amI love my eclipse and as the owner of three generations of eclipse this one is the best one of all. I didnt think I would own another eclipse since Ive owned 2 other previous eclipses. (92 & 97) both of which I had over 150,000 miles without any problems. Of all the sports car Ive test drove this new eclipse had the best of everything. Power, handling, comfort and reliability. I have 62,000 miles on it now and have had no problems at all. I only chnage my oil once every 10,000 miles not the usual 3-5,000 miles. Thats why I love it..Low maintanence! My one advice...Just test drive it and youll know what im talking about.
