jbs diamante - 2002 Mitsubishi Diamante
By JB6528 - July 21 - 2:00 amgood mpg, averaging 25 highway burning reg. gas w/o any negative results. emerengy brake handle is a very poor placement. on extended trips with cruise control the handle placement is always in the way of my right leg placement. repositioning it inward just an inch or so would correct problem. i am learning that re-sale value is poor. msrp was $29700 and wholesale value (acv) one year later is about $17000. most people who see and ride in this car like it but i am not sure i would purchase another diamante.

Diamante LS - 2003 Mitsubishi Diamante
By BRANDEN - July 14 - 1:23 pmThis car has been a blessing for me! Cold A/C and very comfortable to sit in! Just have a few complaints. Fuel economy is terrible, especially in the city, and showing signs of rust and paint is starting to peel on the hood! All and all this cars performance is awesome. Transmission doesnt seem to shift at the right time especially when you punch it right off the line! Using Full Synthetic Motor Oil has increased horsepower greatly and be sure to run only premium fuel in these cars to help get the most out of your gas tank!

Fun, Luxury Car - 2000 Mitsubishi Diamante
By fulby - July 11 - 10:00 amI bought this car new in 2000 for my wife. I love to drive it, and do at every opportunity! The only problem has been excessive road noise. Weve had the tires replaced (30,000 miles), but it didnt help. This is a champagne car on a beer budget. Given the choice, I would buy the Diamante LS again.

Value - 2004 Mitsubishi Diamante
By MDS LV - June 7 - 10:00 amThis is the second LS I have had. The car just plain delivers. BMW comfort, performance and quality at bargin prices. Only draw back is poor blue book for some reason. In any case dealer made my trade in work with incentives etc. I love the car.

Sharp looking, great performance - 2000 Mitsubishi Diamante
By WtbyCT - April 16 - 1:33 amI got my 2000 LS in 2003 to replace the 1993 Grand Am that my parents gave me as a first car. For the first two years that I owned it I drove the socks off the thing but it easily took the abuse of a 17 year old guy and his friends. Once I got into college I took more interest in the car since I knew I needed a car that would last me into the beginning of my career. With a nice wash and wax, this car gets me compliments everywhere I go. Take care of this car and it will take care of you. On the highway I find the acceleration to be amazing between 60-80 and I can hang with most Euro cars and blow the socks off the other JP cars. Only prob is at 60,000 mi its going to be $1100+ service

03 Diamante VRX - 2003 Mitsubishi Diamante
By ShawnCarter - April 5 - 10:00 amThis car is a nice for an entry luxuary car but it still falls far behind other competitors. ThE BASE PRICE OF THE CAR SHOULD BE EXTREMELY LOWER BECAUSE THE RESALE VALUE IS EXTREMELY POOR!

Excellent Purchase - 2001 Mitsubishi Diamante
By gguillot - March 24 - 2:00 amI bought my Diamante LS new in Spring of 2001. I have not had a single problem or failure with the car, with the exception of the stock tires. I replaced them at 55k miles with Bridgestone Turanzas and the car handles like a sports car. After 62k miles, the car is still like new - tight and solid.

Love The Diamante LS - 2002 Mitsubishi Diamante
By Old 27 Lancer - March 10 - 2:00 amIve driven the Diamante LS over 33,000 miles in 10 months. The only negative feature has been the junk Goodyear GA tires now through the second set. Cruise at 80-90 with no problems. Speeds over 110 are dangerous with air lift under the cars fully enclosed chasis plate creating a wobble. Comfort is good; panic stopping has been a life saver. Id buy another one. The plan is to accumulate 200,000 miles on this car for business; I think it can do it with no problem.

Bought It New - 1997 Mitsubishi Diamante
By bsm - February 28 - 4:20 amThe car has been a dream. It has over 182,000 miles and my only problem was the brakes initially until a mechanic changed me to another brake pad. I will probably get over 300,000 miles out of the car. This is the only car in my life I have ever kept for more than two years. Its transmission seems odd to other drivers who borrow the car but that is because it adapts to each drivers driving habits after about three or four times they have driven it consecutively. This is the best money I have ever spent on a car.
