why such low reasle value in these cars? - 2001 Mitsubishi Diamante
By sallygator - December 27 - 10:00 amYes, the wind noise in this car exists- does that mean it leaks when it rains? I have a 1994 wagon which I also love- I do not like the seat eating papers habit of the sedan. MY car beats most others! Was considering Avalon or Volvo along with this one. Think I shouldve gotten a Toyota with better resale. Would love to have a hood ornament. There is nice acceleration here...and a stable ride at 120 MPH. Back seat headroom for my son (at 64")is lacking

2001 Diamate LS - 2001 Mitsubishi Diamante
By Greg Mace - December 22 - 10:00 amThis is my second Mitsubishi Diamante I have owned. My first one a 1992 ran like a champ. After 120,000 miles all I need to replace was tires, brakes and battery. I sold it in 1999 and recently found the buyer still had it and it has 160,000 miles and stil runs like a champ. He told me it was the best used car hed ever bought. My 2001 Diamante LS is all that I expected. A smooth ride, plenty of horsepower and smooth ride. I have friends with BMWs that kick themselves for not buying a Diamamte. They said the ride is as nice as the BMWs and I paid $10,000 less.

Traded the Jag - 2002 Mitsubishi Diamante
By MickP - November 14 - 10:00 amLove this car. Just traded a 1999 JagXJ8 for a new Diamante. The ride in this car is quieter, I swear! For the price, this is the best mid-range luxury car Ive owned. Smooth ride. Ultra-quiet and fun to drive. Beautiful look too.

2001 Mitsubishi Diamante LS - 2001 Mitsubishi Diamante
By Joe D - October 9 - 10:00 amThis is the third Diamante Ive purchased. I had a 93, 99 and now a 2001. Each model had been a pleasure to own and drive. I believe that this model offers premium features at a very reasonable price. The transmission is flawless, the design eye - catching and the engine is powerful and quiet. The 1.9% financing was a bonus. The interior is very well trimmed with much attention to detail. The sound system is superior and quite easy to use. In summary, this car has all the features that anyone could ask for with a price tag under $30,000.

Still Happy! - 1997 Mitsubishi Diamante
By Tommysgirl3 - June 29 - 9:33 amExcept for the quirky little jerk sometimes while the transmission shifts to 2nd gear, this is one of the best cars I have ever owned. No maintenance issues, great gas mileage and an overall reliable vehicle. I purchased it in 2000 with 37,000; Im now at 98,000 miles with years to go.

Excellent Value - 2004 Mitsubishi Diamante
By MSSS - April 12 - 11:33 amFor 26000 this car delivers excellent value. This is the second LS I have owned in a row and it delivers trouble free performance. I experienced no mechanical or upkeep issues at all on my 2001 LS which had 82000 miles when I traded it for my new 2004.
