Overview & Reviews
Both 2004 Mini Cooper trims offer a new three-spoke leather sport steering wheel. A rear power socket returns as a standard item, and beige leather sport seats are now available. A digital speedometer readout has been added to the electronic display, and an instantaneous fuel-consumption function has been added to its on-board computer.
- Not enough horsepower in base model, questionable seat comfort, not much room for passengers and cargo, some low-grade interior materials.

Mini Review - 2004 Mini Cooper
By jacqueline - December 3 - 2:00 amI love my Mini because it is so much fun to drive. It drives like a much heavier car. I took it to the mountains and it ran great at 80mph and felt very solid. It shifts very easily. You can zip in and of traffic with ease. It gets great gas mileage. People smile and point when they see it.

Mini Cooper - 2004 Mini Cooper
By dalejo - November 29 - 10:00 amCouldnt have found a better value as the price of gas exploded. This car gets between 30 and 40 mpg. I was surprised at the comfort of the front seats as I am over 63" tall, the MINI has the feel of a sports car at a very affordable cost. Perfect second vehicle for our familys needs.

Too Cool - 2004 Mini Cooper
By Larardo - September 9 - 2:00 amThe car is great. I have the automaticic so my wife can use it and it ok but it takes away performance and it has a governor on the rpm. It is hard to hit the right rpm when you need it and it shifts slow. I knew that going into it so I have no grips.

My Mini - 2004 Mini Cooper
By JoBob - August 3 - 1:26 amIf you lease this car its great! I bought it, and I keep buying it every time I go in for the scheduled service. I am going to miss this car after I trade it in. The money it costs to run it is 10 times the amount you will save in gas costs. Also you need to pack a lunch to drive to the very rare and exclusive mini service dealerships. After you get there eat that lunch you packed while you wait for hours to find out that there is more than just an oil change. Have a strong heart for the bill you get. I know for a fact I could have been driving a Lincoln cheaper than this. If you have lots of money and time to blow, buy this car!

Fun Ride - 2004 Mini Cooper
By MItch - July 28 - 2:00 amIve owned my MINI since October 2002 and I have to say its one of the most enjoyable cars to drive. Its comfort has been exceptional on road trips of more than 3 hours and the fuel economy is excellent. The pick-up and fun factors are only echoed with its safety features. TOO MUCH FUN.

Huge Mini - 2004 Mini Cooper
By LIVEfrom718 - June 22 - 10:00 ami absolutely love it. at 163hp this car flies!!! it doesnt sound too much, but between the weight and size it really hauls! its a really fun car. i get the "its a cute" care from a lot of people, but once they see the interior, the way it handles, and all the little extras people are really shocked. at first most people are reminded of the beetle and all the cuteness that surrounds that, but dont forget that this little guy is made from the folks at BMW!
