Overview & Reviews
Both 2004 Mini Cooper trims offer a new three-spoke leather sport steering wheel. A rear power socket returns as a standard item, and beige leather sport seats are now available. A digital speedometer readout has been added to the electronic display, and an instantaneous fuel-consumption function has been added to its on-board computer.
- Not enough horsepower in base model, questionable seat comfort, not much room for passengers and cargo, some low-grade interior materials.

Be ready for questions - 2004 Mini Cooper
By Virginia F - June 8 - 10:00 amIf youre planning on buying a Mini, make sure that you memorize all the stats, as you WILL be asked questions about it by random people in every parking lot. If youre not prepared for lots of attention, buy something else. Its beyond fun to drive, doesnt notice the steepest hills, and is tight and solid going around the sharpest curves. Be sure to get the sport package, with the upgraded seats, and itll be the best car ever for road trips - super comfy, too much fun, and decent gas mileage. I tend to get 28.5 city during the worst of the summer with the AC blasting, 30.5 city rest of the year, 34.5 mountain hwy, and 38.5 straight hwy.

Loving My Baby Mini - 2004 Mini Cooper
By Jelliebea - May 28 - 6:33 amI couldnt have gotten a better car. We have two babies and are both tall people. My husband is over 65 and doesnt have to roll the seat all the way back. We take this car everywhere. We can use it for short overnight trips but not for long ones where we will need to bring a lot of baby gear. We are just amazed at the amount of space we have. The gas mileage of this car is also out of this world. I am just in love with our Mini and cant wait till we can get another. We are part of a Mini club and go around with others who enjoy theirs just as much.

Mini Cooper - 2004 Mini Cooper
By sondra kellam - April 20 - 10:00 amI have purchased many cars in the last 25 years and I can honestly tell you that I have enjoyed this mini so much. We have had a BMW 325 in the past and I loved it, however the mini makes people smile, it handles traffic and I feel safe which is the most important.

German engineering trumps British build - 2004 Mini Cooper
By dreadopus - March 19 - 2:00 amMy only fault with this car is my personal dislike for the transmisson layout with reverse slotted to the far left next to first. Although this is the conundrum with 6 speed layouts.

read this before you by. - 2004 Mini Cooper
By craig d - March 9 - 10:00 amI have had this car more than a year. I think it looks great and is a lot of fun to drive (when it works). When you have a problem the dealers and Mini cust. service are not there to help. The build quality is not good.I have had Transmission problems, dynamic stability control problems, rear hatch problems, Etc. Some of wich have still not been fixed after numerous attempts. you must have an extra car when buying a Mini. I have had it with this car. I am selling it.

Mini Cooper S Loaded - 2004 Mini Cooper
By Telva Chase - February 5 - 2:00 amLove my new mini - Ive only had it a week and its a blast to drive. I dont really miss the low-end torque of my Pontiac Firebird, it was too much power for a daily commute anyway. I know how to get the most out of a stick, so I have no issues with performance. I also love having an excuse to NOT drive my work friends to lunch everyday! Even my 62" husband can sit comfortably in the vehicle which he could not in my Firebird - even with the T-Tops off. I plan on racing my car in SCCA and taking home the title!

By KTs Cooper - January 31 - 10:00 amLots of fun to drive this eye-catching car. Drives like an expensive BMW without the price tag.
