Both 2004 Mini Cooper trims offer a new three-spoke leather sport steering wheel. A rear power socket returns as a standard item, and beige leather sport seats are now available. A digital speedometer readout has been added to the electronic display, and an instantaneous fuel-consumption function has been added to its on-board computer.

• Not enough horsepower in base model, questionable seat comfort, not much room for passengers and cargo, some low-grade interior materials.

  My experience has been unbelievable and truly too much fun. The MINI has been a fun, affordable, and road tested motorcar for me from the start. No other compares, the Brits are back! Every other car on the road is just transportion, the MINI is a true motorcar.

  This is my second New Cooper S I had a 2002 and just replace it with a 2004, this is an awesome auto, I have owned lots of cars but the S is the most fun to drive

  I just got my MINI I love the car. I feel like I just got my drivers licese and offer to drive just about any place. I hope this feeling does not go away. If you are looking for a fun and good looking car this is the one for you.

  The mini cooper is a great car to drive! It turns on a dime and gets looks from everyone, even those in much more expensive cars. With 29 miles per gallon in the city and 39 on the highway, I predict well be seeing more of these on the road!

  My Favorite Little Red Car - 2004 Mini Cooper

  This car is a blast to drive. The first thing people notice is how roomy the interior is for a car that is so small. I love the size, it is just right for me. The Mini S gives you the best of both worlds; its speedy as heck and rides like a European sportscar but doesnt waste too much fuel. I get an average of 35mpg, but you get a lot less if you drive fast. Main things I like are the interior set-up; the dash is beautifully shaped and covered with nice material thats easy to keep clean. I like how the switches & controls are centralized around the console and steering wheel. The interior is not small compared with the outside, and it gives you that feeling of being safe that only a European car gives. When you drive the Mini, you wont feel like youre in a claustrophobic box but rather a pretty comfy sportscar! Ive used it to commute 35 miles each way Monday thru Friday for the past 3 months with no complaints or problems. I found mine at a repo-auction where I got a great price on it, although it had 103K miles, it was a clean Florida car with no issues and a pretty reasonable price for me. I will be investing in a different set of wheels and tires for the winter though, as the 17-inch custom wheels & tires dont like snow at all and I cant drive in the heavy snow. I have been told by a fellow Mini owner that with the right tires and wheels, the car will deal with the snow much better.

  Love driving the Mini Cooper S. The shifting of the 6 speed transmission is so smooth and the clutch is so easy that it is nothing but fun to drive. You can see all around the vehicle. No blind spots. The car has lots of zip and personality. People stop you everywhere to ask you about it. The toggle switches are easy to access. There actually is room in the back seat for four people.

  TOOK MY FIRST ROAD TRIP 525 MILES ROUND TRIP THE CAR HANDLED PERFECT IT WAS A BLAST TO DRIVE COULD NOT HAVE FELT SAFER DURING TWO HEAVY RAIN STORMS THE CAR STUCK TO THE ROAD NO HYDROPLANING IF YOU WANT TO BE NOTICED THIS IS THE CAR FOR YOU EVERYONE LOOKS AND POINTS

  First hand experience of Cooper, Cooper S and Cooper S Works, the little powerhouse just gets better and better. Never looked back since selling the Z3 M Roadster. This little car flatters the driver, diminishes the ego of other drivers with its cheeky charm, poise, handling and performance. Put on a favourite track and drive to the music. Never have another grey day - buy a mini.

  This car is incredible fun combined with a very practical commuter.It is a head turner that performs as well as it looks.Absolutely no problems or glitches after 10000 miles.
