Both 2004 Mini Cooper trims offer a new three-spoke leather sport steering wheel. A rear power socket returns as a standard item, and beige leather sport seats are now available. A digital speedometer readout has been added to the electronic display, and an instantaneous fuel-consumption function has been added to its on-board computer.
- Not enough horsepower in base model, questionable seat comfort, not much room for passengers and cargo, some low-grade interior materials.

Not for a Lexus, not for a Hummer, not for a Porche, not even for a Ferrari. MINI isnt just the most fun you can have behind the wheel, it scores a 10 on the cool factor, gets great milage, is safe, and comes with an instant family. MINI owners get together, socialize, become friends, and run the roads together, having WAY more fun than they really ought to. MINI. Not just a car. A culture.

By rodf - August 28 - 10:00 amI took my MINI on several trips right after I purchased it and the only problem I ever had was a minor glitch with the cruise control. I pulled into the dealership that evening explained the problem and 20 minutes later I was out the door with fix completed. I have put about 10000 miles on "Squee" (must have name for such a great little car.) and have had no other problems. Great car to drive and rides very nice.

A MINI in Florida - 2004 Mini Cooper
By Dale Twachtmann - August 28 - 10:00 amI drive it on the Interstate about twice a week commuting to a job. It will run easily at 72 to 74 mph and winds up to about 3200 at those speeds. Feels solid in all kinds of weather. With the back seats down I can carry 4 sets of golf clubs -- which was a surprise. I tried the run-flat tires but took them back as they seemed to make the ride to hard to suit me. It truly gets the over 40 mpg when I cruise it at about 60 to 65 mph in 5th gear. I am very satisfied with it.

By Dr Jim - August 28 - 10:00 amI had to pay full price plus a "premium" but I have enjoyed it. I am becoming happier every time the cost of fuel rises and the H2 drives by. Gears 2,3,4 and 5 are excellent but 1 and 6 are weak. Parking is easy but deceptive. My greatest uncertainty is will it be as reliable as a Japanese car.

By donmini - August 28 - 10:00 amWe love this car!!! Not only is it cute but performs extremely well. The longest trip has been from Atlanta to Sarasota and back-a distance of about 1200 miles. It is a delightful road car as`well as around town car. Buy it youll like it!!!!!!!
