Overview & Reviews
The CLS is an all-new sedan in Mercedes' lineup for 2006.
- Sharp and sexy exterior design, handles like a much smaller car, smooth V8.
- Sleek lines make getting in back a little awkward, complicated control interface.

My CLS - 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class
By Jeff - December 10 - 7:16 pmMercedes has really created yet another piece of art with this machine. Not only does it look good, but handles like a charm and is very comfortable to drive. This car is also very well built. Not the usual creeks and rattles you can sometimes experience with a new car. This one stays solid and rides very smooth. One of the other great things is all the bells and wistles. Theres a button for eveything.

Ive been waiting for THIS car! - 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class
By mta - December 3 - 3:30 pmI knew this beautiful car was coming for about 2 years. When I finally saw it, I had to buy it. It is an amazing car in style & performance. Everyone notices it on the road & it has so many updates over the E320-4 matic I traded in. I did not want another boring looking M.B. I bought the "Launch Edition" which had a list price of $74,500. A limited # of them were produced.

CLS - 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class
By PR - October 4 - 7:13 amMy wife and I have had the car now for a month and continue to love it more and more all the time. This is a fabulous car. I love the V8 and the interior is exceptional. Handles very well and is very fast. My only gripe is that you cant get anyone too big in the back seat. Other than that, this car is terrific.

What a car - 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class
By sam - August 10 - 11:20 pmI had never driven such a car before. Head turning, excellent handling, powerful, beatiful, classy, easy to drive. I own several other cars among them a Ferrari 360 spider. No comparison between these two cars. The Mercedes is much more powerful and easier to drive. What a beast!

Love my CLS - 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class
By Gilbert - August 5 - 7:46 pmI have been driving my CLS for almost 5 months and I really enjoy it. I test drove the BMW 645 and it was a beautiful car, but I liked the Benzs ride better. The control interface is no more complicated than a Japenese car. Almost 8,000 miles on it and no problems at all.

One Beautiful Car - 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class
By Lou Algieri - July 4 - 9:56 pmMercedes designed the CLS for buyers that wanted something more sporty than an E-Class but couldnt afford AMG series cars. Well, it seemed like they designed it just for me because as soon as I saw it, I wanted one. The car has style, plenty of horsepower and handles better than the E500. I was concerned about the low roofline thinking it would hinder visibility, but that has not been the case. The high performance tires are a little noisy, but not distracting. The jury is still out on the "reliability" category because the car is new. And finally, the CLS has decent cup holders in the front!

CLS500 Solid 4Dr Coupe - 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class
By Lou - May 27 - 11:56 amI have had the luxury of owning just about 15 different types of luxury and performance type vehicles and this new CLS 500 gives you the best of both worlds. This car handles like a great sports car should and has the quiet smooth ride you would find in a luxury sedan. I get loads of complimeents from everyone who has seen it.

Mercedes CLS - 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class
By ryan - April 28 - 9:26 pmFrom the moment I drove the CLS off the car lot I felt like I was riding like a king. The CLS has everything that you would expect it to have. The ride was as if I was riding on air. Mercedes has really done it this time. I wanted to sleep in the car.

CLS 500 - 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class
By Doug - April 19 - 6:40 amThis car is unbeleivably fast and extremely fun to drive. Ive owned a Lexus LS 430 and this car is superior to the 430. Its aerodynamic design is absolutely gorgeous. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone.

Best looking car on the road today - 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class
By RJ in St. Louis - February 16 - 6:33 pmThis car drives as great as it looks. Without a doubt, the finest looking car on the road today. It turns heads everywhere I go. As a long-time BMW driver, it took me awhile to get used to very touchy brakes and Mercedes handling, softer than I like from years of BMW driving. The CLS smokes the LS430s performance, and when it comes to styling, the Lexus has no business in the same sentence as the CLS. First time Ive bought a car with keyless go- a great option, as is the satellite radio. Given the small windows, Id recommend Parktronic as well.
