- More fun to drive than most family sedans, slick shifting manual transmission, smooth power delivery, nicely appointed interior, multiple body styles.

By slickride - March 19 - 1:10 pmI purchased my Mazda 6 in August of 2004. Has a 5 speed manual with sport package and Bose stereo. I have had zero problems with this car. Regular oil changes, new wipers every year (live in snow belt, CNY) and had to buy snow tires and new performance radials (Im a sales man). I just rolled over 63,500 on the car and have had no major repairs with the exception of the front wheel bearing. Performance is excellent and gas mileage is great. Cant complain with 400 miles on a tank. Why anyone would buy anything else boggles the mind. Great quality and reliability for the money. The car was rear ended by an F150 at a red light, was fixed and no-one got hurt. Thats reliability to me!

By dvdgrog - February 26 - 10:00 amYou actually have to pull out to know that the engine is running, because you wont hear a thing. A virtually silent drive. It hugs the road like no other vehicle Ive driven, and with all the power you could possibly want. And comfort! More support and comfort in the seat than in the former Mazda 626, which I found lacking in that department. Extremely comfortable. No complaints.

By nicolo1 - February 26 - 10:00 amI was thrilled when I first laid eyes on the Mazda 6 in person, it looked even better than it did on paper. It had the sporty aimage I was looking for. The 6s interior is attractive and ergonomically sound. Both stereo and climate controls are easy to use. This isnt a pretender it is fast and handles great, with little cabin noise. Acceleration is responsive and the clutch and shifter are smooth. This car is quick 0-60 in 6.8 sec with a manual transmission, its .6 seconds faster than a V6 Accord. I know its not fair to compare manual to automatic, but you cant get a Manual V6 Accord sedan. At least someone is looking out for true drivers.

By dave snell - February 17 - 12:56 amI have owned my new silver 6s with sports package and manual transmission for 2 months now and I am very happy. The only things I can fault it for is the turning radius and it can be difficult to launch in 1st gear because of the lack of torque. However once this car is off the line it is a hoot to drive. It handles superbly at speed and the engine comes alive at 3500 rmp. As a younger man I was a Datsun 510 lover, and this car takes me back to the fun days of rowing gears and tossing the car around turns. It is also the best looking car in its class (imo). Compared to the Accord, Camry or Altima this car has so much more personality and fun to drive factor. Why drive something boring?

We were also testing a Pontiac Grand AM GT and the difference was incredible, You can tell right away the Mazda is put together very tightly. It has a modern look and very sleek design. This is my first non GM car and I couldnt be happier. Great fuel mileage too.

By rblessed - January 18 - 2:00 amThis car is a great everyday driver for work. If you can opt of the V6 it is worth it. However, I do a lot of driving in Home Health and miles per gallon is important to me so the 4 cyl benefited me. I like to do my own shifting, but in todays traffic pay the extra for an automatic. I looked into everything in this price range 22K and the Mazda offered more spunk than other manufacturers. If you reside in San Antonio, Texas go to the IPAC dealership and speak with John B. (Manager), Reggie A, or Eddie G. They were AWESOME!! I have only had the car a day so I cannot comment on reliability at this time. The car is great.. it sells itself.

By hyundia19 - January 13 - 10:00 amThis car drives so smooth, it feels like your in a lincoln or any big body style car!!! They way it drives on the highway is almost dangerous.....Its so smooth i get up to 125 so quickly and i cant even feel it! I love this car and i am so glad i bought it.
