Overview & Reviews
New hatchback and wagon body styles are scheduled as midyear additions. Minor adjustments to the 6's optional equipment packages are the only other changes for 2004.
- More fun to drive than most family sedans, slick shifting manual transmission, smooth power delivery, nicely appointed interior, multiple body styles.

Love that 6! - 2004 Mazda Mazda6
By Eric Bohan - December 7 - 10:00 amI have been driving my 6 for 2 months now. I love the design and form of the car. 20 more hp would not have hurt, but all-in-all it is the most pleasant riding, sports sedan I have owned yet. When the engine idles, it is so smooth you cannot tell it is running. The BOSE audio system is top notch, and the climate control works rapidly and efficiently.

nearly perfect family car for 4 - 2004 Mazda Mazda6
By Bob - November 8 - 3:33 amThis is a practical, fun, fast and economical car. No problems. Fuel economy has been 22 city and 28-30 hwy. The manual says gas tank should hold 18 gallons, but only holds 16.5. No wheel lock key came with the car, which caused surprise when time came to change tires. Not much range/warning when low fuel light comes on.

Love this car!! - 2004 Mazda Mazda6
By SMisenplace - October 26 - 10:00 amI had researched and driven cars for at least month and never looked at the 6 when I found out that there was not a NAV option on it. That was one of the absolute highest priority options on my list. On a whim I decided to go look at the 6 and to say that I was very pleasantly surprised is an understatement. With little more than a brief glance at this site and a test drive, I was signing the paperwork to leave with my new car. Since buying the 6, just about every car I get into makes me seriously miss driving my own. Based on my experience with this vehicle, there is no doubt that I will be a lifetime Mazda owner.

Excleent,dream car made by Mazda - 2004 Mazda Mazda6
By Marianna Woods - October 26 - 10:00 amI was earlier driving a Toyota Camry and I must say that the toyota was very good in terms of quality. No problems for the five years that I used it ,considering the mileage that I do annually. However ,after I purchased the Mazda6 ,I was surprised to know that there is something more what you can get in a car than just quality and reliablity .The Mazda6 handles better than most cars that I have test driven in its category like the Accord, the Mondeo ,the passat ,A4,etc.Design was fantastic inside as well as outside .The brakes were also the best in its class .Engine servicing was at half the intervals you would service an Accord or Camry.Seating comfort and

My Precious - 2004 Mazda Mazda6
By Barticus - September 30 - 2:00 amExcellent handling makes this car not only fun to drive but a responsibility to drive it well and hard. It demands nothing less then tight turns and hilly roads so it can show you what it is to have a blast while driving.

Otto the auto... - 2004 Mazda Mazda6
By ZoomZoom79 - September 24 - 2:00 amFor all those considering purchasing a fun vehicle to drive that gets away from the dull and boring car (Toyota Camry, Honda Accord - besides, Im SOOO sick of hearing how great these cars are), then consider the 6s. I purchased 1 one 6 Blazing Copper Metallic (Orange) Mazda 6s in my state, and have received tons of compliments on the style of the car and the color. Being a Syracuse Univ. alum, the car is appropriately named Otto. The heated leather seats and mirrors are a nice touch, and the Bose audio system cant be beat. The performance handles like a sports car, and spending an extra $150 for tinted windows is definetely a MUST.

By yea_yea - September 13 - 10:00 amLet me tell you when I first bought my mazda 6 i thought I was going to hate it and boy was I wrong it drives smooth and runs great thanks mazda. P.S. the reason I thought I was going to hate it is that my very first car was a mazda 626, 1991. And I caught on fire and blew up on I-5
