New hatchback and wagon body styles are scheduled as midyear additions. Minor adjustments to the 6's optional equipment packages are the only other changes for 2004.

  A really great option to the garden variety commuter cars despite gas mileage is in the low 20s (partially due to my shift points ;-). It has a very eager, smooth running motor & handles very well on the stock 17" rubber. In wagon format, it really occupies a niche of one (220hp V6, handling biased, manual transmission wagon under $25k). If you dont demand 30mph from a daily driver, the Mazda6 is worth taking a close look.

  After owning Civics, Accords and Odesseys I thought Id never own anything else. The Mazda 6 caught my eye after Hondas disappointing make over. Once I drove the Mazda 6 I felt like I was driving a true sports sedan that is truely a fun car to own. To anyone considering another or their first Honda, dont let the Mazda name fool you anymore. Mazda is now a car as good as, if not better than any car in its class. I cant say enough about its stand out curb apeal, its an eye catcher that is not like all the others. My advice is test drive it and I bet you buy it.

  Ive had Hondas, Nissans, Toyotas and VWs. This Mazda 6S fully loaded with shiftronic is the best car Ive ever owned. It is extremely stylish, roomy, fun to drive, comfortable and quick. Love the sound of the dual pipes with the manual auto shifting. Bravo Mazda!

  This is the best sports sedan I have ever owned including my Maxima and my Camry. The interior and exterior styling is awesome and the handling is out of this world. Mazda has manufactured a top-of-the-line sports sedan for a very reasonable price. The only thing that I can see that could be improved is the sound system.

  Generally peppy performance, but low- RPM torque not what I expected andcar has disappointing fuel mileage. Only average 19-20. My car is automatic, not manual.

  this car is absolutly amazing. First of all it is a blast to drive. It handles great and the acceleration is perfect. Also the design. When i first got my car you can see people looking to figure out what model it was. It definetly turns heads. Now the interior, Best interior I"ve seen in awhile. Everything is right infront of you, controls on the steering wheel and all. The design inside is orignal and every one thats been in my car has loved it.

  No other sedan is more fun to drive than the 6s for this price range, period!
