  Ive owned my Mazda6s for 4 months and have loved every minute of it. For reference, I have the 6s with AT, sport package, moonroof, heated seats/mirrors,leather, Bose audio, and rearview mirror w/homelink. As others have said, slow off the line but very smooth and quick performance past 20 m.p.h

  I have two Mazdas 6; one automatic V6 and my favorite V6 with manual transmission. To have every day fun on the road you really need manual. It jumps over the any car you name it. The automatic has that "manual" feature but it isnt same feeling like real manual it has delay. With manual you press less gas pedal and have immediate respond. Automatic you press half of the way and still nothing happens. The automatic is for nice and smooth ride. Have fun drive manual. No any problems with car -- 34000 miles.

  I never thought that a 4 door sedan could be this fun to drive. I have the 4 cyl. with 5 speed and it has plenty of power, handles excellent in corners and highway speeds. I bought this Mazda6 with the intention of giving it to my son when he turned 16 and now that the day has arrived, I hate to give it up. The a/c works great, shifting is smooth and quick with its short throw design and it comes with some special features not expected in this cars price range, like dimming lights after entering the car, auto shut off headlights, if you forgot, great bose stereo system, electronic trunk release and many other features you would not expect for the price. All and all a great car to drive

  Great overall car. I would recommend this car to anyone who wants a sporty car thats not too big and yet not too small. The 4 door is perfect.

  I purchased my Mazda 6 in August of 2004. Has a 5 speed manual with sport package and Bose stereo. I have had zero problems with this car. Regular oil changes, new wipers every year (live in snow belt, CNY) and had to buy snow tires and new performance radials (Im a sales man). I just rolled over 63,500 on the car and have had no major repairs with the exception of the front wheel bearing. Performance is excellent and gas mileage is great. Cant complain with 400 miles on a tank. Why anyone would buy anything else boggles the mind. Great quality and reliability for the money. The car was rear ended by an F150 at a red light, was fixed and no-one got hurt. Thats reliability to me!

  You actually have to pull out to know that the engine is running, because you wont hear a thing. A virtually silent drive. It hugs the road like no other vehicle Ive driven, and with all the power you could possibly want. And comfort! More support and comfort in the seat than in the former Mazda 626, which I found lacking in that department. Extremely comfortable. No complaints.

  I was thrilled when I first laid eyes on the Mazda 6 in person, it looked even better than it did on paper. It had the sporty aimage I was looking for. The 6s interior is attractive and ergonomically sound. Both stereo and climate controls are easy to use. This isnt a pretender it is fast and handles great, with little cabin noise. Acceleration is responsive and the clutch and shifter are smooth. This car is quick 0-60 in 6.8 sec with a manual transmission, its .6 seconds faster than a V6 Accord. I know its not fair to compare manual to automatic, but you cant get a Manual V6 Accord sedan. At least someone is looking out for true drivers.

  We purchased our 2004 Mazda 6 sports sedan and we love it. We were also testing a Pontiac Grand AM GT and the difference was incredible, You can tell right away the Mazda is put together very tightly. It has a modern look and very sleek design. This is my first non GM car and I couldnt be happier. Great fuel mileage too.
