  • Nice Car! - 2005 Mazda Mazda6

Bought this car used with 3800 miles on it, so it was pretty much like new. Had never really looked at them, but got a great deal on an 05 Sport Hatch. The car handles great and is pretty comfortable for my daily commute. The looks are unbeatable in this segment, having a much more sporty demeanor than the Camcords. The interior is nicely done as well, with all major conveniences and safety gear. Although a little reluctant at first, the versatility of the hatch cant be beat and its difficult to differentiate between the hatch and the sedan versions. This car would be a great choice for those looking for a sporty car with a little room and versatility.

I went to over 15 locations to find a Mazda 6 in my area. Now I know why they are so hard to find. This is one of the best mid sized sedans for the buck! I found a beautiful Sonic Blue 2005 Madza i sport 6 sedan and it was a major upgrade from my 94 Olds Cutlass Cierra to say the least. The handling of the Mazda 6 is very good and the speaker system is above average (No Bose). My mother drives an Acura TSX and she wants to trade with me. Bought at 57000 miles. Now at 63000 miles.

This car is the best car that I have ever purchased. It is a blast to drive and the 4 cylinder really gets the job done, especially at high rpms. The design inside is very well thought out and sporty and it is the best looking family sedan that you can buy (the Camry is nice but bland, and the Accord is just ugly and bulky looking). This is the perfect blend of a sporty car and a very capable family sedan. I have had no problems with it whatsoever and I love this car!

Ive only had this car about 1 month. Actually my wife has had it so long. She picked it out because this car has so many sensible features inside a sporty exterior. Its fun to drive. It has the capacity of our Forester, but it looks good. The stereo and sun roof are sweet too.

  • Best wagon on the market - 2005 Mazda Mazda6

This car handles like a luxury sedan. Slice through corners and accelerates like a champ. I bought this car for my wife, but it is so much fun to drive that we battle for the keys. Great family car for those who dont like minivans and like to ride in style.

  • $$ well spent - 2005 Mazda Mazda6

This car is a blast to drive and well engineered, inside and out. My complaints are relatively few and are generally cosmetic or insignificant to the avg driver. First, the cars turning radius is pretty wide which can be a pain if you need to do a quick K- turn because there winds up being nothing quick about it. Also, the red dash lights seem a bit toy-ish, almost something very "early80s/Atari-esque" about them. However, on the positive side, much ado has been made of nothing where this cars lack of low end torque is concerned because although the 192 lb/ft dont kick in until mid-may up the RPM scale, the torque band does flatten out right where the cars max hp of 220 kicks in.

  • Great 6s - 2005 Mazda Mazda6

When I want to go some place fast, comfortably and cheap, I take the 6. I have several other cars but the Mazda is my favorite. I leave her home in nasty weather, thus the low annual mileage. So far I have just had routine maintenance.

I bought this loaded with leather, side airbags, manual shift, and sunroof for thousands less than Passat or BMW. Interior quality, especially the leather was better than I expected for the price. FUN to drive. 3 kids fit fine. Fuel economy is surprisingly poor (23) but maybe I am still in lust phase and revving too high. If that is possible. :) I LOVE THIS CAR! A little more low end torque would be perfect but I work around it. My last car was MX6 and it lasted 245k miles, even the clutch lasted till 190k. Im hoping for more of the same! Actually my 11 year old son is hoping to get this in 6 years. Safe, fun to drive, lotsa pep, value pricing. Wagon with stick. Cant beat it.

  • Best Handling in its class - 2005 Mazda Mazda6

The driving dynamics of the Mazda6 are just fantastic. The 2.3L 4 cyl could use more power, but at highway speed, it performs very well. Fuel economy is around 31 highway, and 25 around town. Overall, I get about 27 with mixed driving. Build quality and reliability have been excellent.

  • A fine automobile in all aspects - 2005 Mazda Mazda6
    By -

This car is our third Mazda and out of the three, our favorite. Unlike our 2 previous Miatas, the Mazda6 begs to be pushed. While it is apparent one is driving a true sports car in a Miata, the Mazda6 has a low speed character that belies it true nature when pushed to its limits on narrow two lane roads. Using the transmission in manual mode allows the most precise and efficient use of available torque, minimizes understeer and keeps the brakes cool for true emergencies. This really is a fine automobile with fabulous seats, the creature comforts one expects in a true sports sedan, and absolutely impeccable fit and finish. I expect its reliability and resale to be outstanding.
