  • Our 2nd 6 - 2005 Mazda Mazda6

This is our 2nd Mazda6 purchase in 9 months. We purchased a Mazda6 hatch last March (see 5-doors of fun review). The wagon is everything that our hatch is and more. The wagon handles the same, accelerates the same and brakes the same, with a little extra room. At 65" tall, the ride is comfortable, there is room for our 2 German Shepherds and two sets of golf clubs and for both of our golf storage accessories. I added the Mazdaspeed 18 wheels and tires for an even sportier look and better handling. By far this is the best looking and handling wagon, on the road today for the money!

This car has lived up to all my expectations. Super smooth on the highway and crisp on the back roads. The space with the hatchback is phenomenal. I have carried three kids, our 75lb dog, and luggage with no problems. This car actually replaced a minivan. I thought it would be difficult to give up the space I had with the van.The Mazda6 Hatchback can hold lots of stuff and still look sporty. The only drawback I have encountered has been the tires that came with the car. They are below average on snow and ice. Everywhere else they are good performers. Next winter I will invest in a set of good snow tires. The winters are long and stormy up here in Northern New England.

Theyre not kidding when they say "zoom zoom"! The handling on this car is fantastic--very much the sports car in station wagon guise. Mine has no extras except the 6-CD stereo option. Still, its like driving a Volvo station wagon (Ive had several Volvos) on steroids. (Incidentally, Mazdas nicknamed "the American Volvo" in some circles, due to their family relationship and some shared components and trim). The manual transmission not only is fun, but it allows me to manage RPMs to save on gas. Am getting about 25 miles to the gallon, better than predicted even by Mazda--and Im not talking going 55 mph.

  • Great Car Great Price - 2005 Mazda Mazda6

This is a car that I have a good time driving. I have had many cars before, most of them more expensive than the Mazda, this car is fun to drive. I also like the the Leather interior very comfortable on longer trips. The exterior styling is much better than cars in its class.

  • Terrific sport wagon - 2005 Mazda Mazda6

Ive always had a soft spot for Euro-style sport wagons, but Audis and Volvos were out of my price range, and forget about BMW and Mercedes. But I discovered the Mazda6 had sleek looks, strong performance, and truly sporty handling. The engine is buttery smooth and I recently got 28 MPG on the highway, not bad for 70+ MPH with the air on. The steering response is truly sports-car like and the brakes are strong, so much so that Im considering taking this car to the track instead of my Porsche. With premium audio, multiple airbags, and auto climate control, the feel is like driving a luxury car, and I get compliments on the sporty looks.

  • Way to go Mazda - 2005 Mazda Mazda6

My last five cars have been from the Nissan line. But I decided to try something different this time. Im glad I did. The Mazda6i Is a superior car to the Altima, Camry and Accord. The options I got on my Mazda6 would have cost me a couple of thousands extra on the other cars.

I bought this Mazda 6 by mistake, I actually looking for Mazda 3. But when I finally came to see the mistake I have made, see that I was completely wrong. This vehicle is absolutely fun drive and fast. Its only waiting to press the gas and run away.
