New hatchback and wagon body styles are scheduled as midyear additions. Minor adjustments to the 6's optional equipment packages are the only other changes for 2004.
- More fun to drive than most family sedans, slick shifting manual transmission, smooth power delivery, nicely appointed interior, multiple body styles.

By IceRef27 - May 22 - 2:00 amAfter I wrecked my 02 Maxima, I wanted another sport sedan that wouldnt break the bank like the Nissan.....this Mazda 6 is a worthy replacement. While the V- 6 lacks a little power (compared to some other cars in its class), it handles much more like a sports car than the Nissan ever did. The "fun-to- drive" factor is definitely high with the Mazda 6.

By lilo - May 11 - 10:00 amThis is the 8th Mazda Ive purchased, leased, or owned and is by far my favorite. This is the 4th Mazda sedan I have driven and I do not miss my old sports coupes one bit. My Mazda6 is the 4-cylinder i-model and the car is just as fun to drive as any of my 2door V6s. Now I see where the slogan comes from. I love that no matter what size or class, Mazda manages to keep the ZOOM-ZOOM in their vehicles!

By njlamber - April 5 - 9:30 pmI have had for more than a year and every morning I drive to work, I enjoy this car immensely...I have only had to have the rotors turned and my alignment may be a bit off (normal on a new car). Fun, fast, and handles awesome. Some Suburu came flying around me the other day going into an on ramp and i accelerated up to triple digits and it held the road just fine with three other passengers. Handling makes this a fun car to drive..also the smooth V6 is fun also.

By NYStringman - March 24 - 10:00 amExcellent car. Good acceleration, smooth ride especially at highway speeds, great braking, feels very solid, nice interior. Tons of space with the hatch. Dont just get the ABS, get the ABS (Security)package and youll wind up with 8 air bags plus dual side and rear curtains.

By tmarsh - January 3 - 10:00 amI stopped by the Nelson Mazda to test drive the Mazda 3 5-door. I loved that car, but my wife was concerned about cargo space on trips. Our salesman, Rob heard our concerns and introduced us to the S-Wagon. I had no intention of getting a wagon, but this wagon changed my mind! This car has a beautiful, sleek profile that screams performance. The interior has plenty of space, plenty of headroom, and is very confortable. The performance is terrific! The handling is exceptional and exactly what you would expect from a much smaller sports car. The BOSE 6- disc in-dash sound system is the best I have ever heard in a factory supplied system!
