Best First Car! - 2010 Mazda Mazda3
By johnnymize6 - October 13 - 3:06 pmFor my first car I bought a white 2010 Mazda 3 2.0 liter i Touring with the moon and tune package. It currently has just over 52000 miles on it. The 2.0 liter 4 cyl. has good pick-up around town, but passing and merging on the freeway are a little strained. Its a fun little car that handles great and has a lot of nice features like a Bose sound system, a power sunroof, and Bluetooth. The ride is surprisingly comfortable on most bumps but on wavy surfaces it bounces up and down a lot. Its pretty quiet inside now that I put new tires on it. Everything is easy to reach while youre driving. It feels really nice and stable on the freeway, and the ride settles a bit as well.

By bridgetshaw - September 11 - 11:15 pmI recently traded in my 2011 Mazda2 for a 2012 Mazda3, was a fantastic choice since the 2 is garbage. Then traded the 2012 3 for a 2010 for a little more miles and a lot less money. I got the car with 30k miles on it, all maintenance touched up, and a better deal. From what I know about the newer model I have high hopes for this one. The gas mpg is little shotty after driving the Skyactive engine, but it is even more fun to drive, with better handling. I love the Mazda3, its truly a unique sedan in this day and age.

By I want to go fast - September 9 - 3:56 amAfter turning in my Mazda 6 I decided to try out the 3. The Grand Touring is worth the extra bucks with heated leather seats, moon-roof etc. The gas mileage for a smaller car kinda stinks since the best I could get is 24 mpg. The handling around tight turns is fun although I wish the car was faster. I thought the 2.5 engine on a smaller car would be better. The best 0-60 I could get was around 8 seconds. My manual shifting days are over so when they come out with the Mazda Speed in an automatic, Im there!

By BlueMZ3 - August 30 - 9:06 amI test drove many cars before making my purchase. I liked the aggressive look of the Lancer GTS, but I could not resist the expensive feel of the Mazda. I feel like there are very few cars that compare on all levels. I put 10000 miles on my car in 3 months of driving- including a few roadtrips. The car is comfortable enough for me and easy to drive. All of the common controls feel right at my fingertips and can be operated without looking. The engine is smooth and powerful during regular driving and there is a subtle but pleasant exhaust note. I have a Celestial Blue sedan with a few enhancements such as aftermarket wheels. The front end has really grown on me and looks good from many angles

By diehard080 - August 20 - 2:06 pmYes its been 2 years since my 2010 was purchased as I traded my 2008 . This car has not failed to continue keeping me looking forward to my next drive . Its broken in properly as I polled the white tape off the paint myself with 2 miles on the odometer. I see people that have cars they complain about and usuall with a car this solid built 100% in Japan there 1 of 2 things going on here . #1 they work for Toyota or Honda and hate Mazdas becuase they rock the socks off those granny mobiles or you bought a Mazda with 10-15 demos thats been hammered into hell by the salespeople and non-buyers that just want to floof a new car and ruin the engine by doing so .These are top notch rides

I bought it in Velocity Red with dual heated leather seats, 6 disc in dash cd player, bluetooth capability, you name it....and all for under $23000! I love this better than my 2003 Honda Civic EX coupe, which was a manual transmission. Too much stopping and starting to get the manual where I live, but I dont care. Smooth ride, every option is easily accessible to the driver. Gets much better MPGs than my Pacifica AWD, so Im happy! Fun and sporty, what more could you ask for??

By fsufan0025 - August 8 - 2:00 amAfter being a Honda or Toyota person for years, I bought this car due to a GREAT salesman, and excellent finance offers. What a mistake! Took it in for service, and the next day a hubcap came off. But--hey not the service departments fault. And--well sell you a new 1 for $70. Brakes make noise at 14k, and already rattles and noise. Great sales experience, but the cars quality and the service dept ensure that Ill be getting out of this car asap and will NEVER have another Mazda

By debbe - August 8 - 2:00 amMy little Mazda was a replacement for a Honda. This car handles much better and is more fun to drive. I chose the 2.5 because I was driving a 200 hp car and thought the car not have great pick-up if i chose the smaller engine. This engine has fantastic pick-up and handles well and best of all uses regular gasoline. The dash is very modern and it has ample lighting for night driving. The white/gray display screen is not attractive and does not match the other parts on the dash. Its like an alien screen. Also I would have liked a leather option but grey not black.

By RUDE E - June 26 - 4:26 amI test drove several cars, new and used. I must say that this was the most valuable (bang for buck) of the bunch. Very responsive handling, great on gas, and looks are appealing. Coming from a Tacoma its a big change, but well worth it in my eyes.

Awed By Stock Handling - 2010 Mazda Mazda3
By Matt - June 21 - 4:30 amPerformance: 7/10 is because this car is too underpowered as far as performance goes. I came from a 200hp Jeep and a 300whp turbo integra so this is more or less the slowest car Ive owned (although at highway speeds+ the mazda would prob. blow the doors off the Jeep because of aerodynamics and gear ratios). Comfort: Nice interior, only thing Id improve is move the armrest closer to the shifter. Fuel Economy: Impressive. I average 30MPG, and thats with mostly "city" driving. Fun To Drive: YES! Awe-inspiring handling for a stock car compared to my souped up integra with very aggressive suspension & tires, AND limited slip diff. If the engine note was louder itd be just about perfect.
