More than I expected - 2011 Mazda Mazda3
By Joeymann - February 22 - 2:00 amWhen I test drove this car I was impressed, but after purchaseing and driving it every day I am amazed at what a great car this is. My wife loves it and we both love driving it. A FUN car ! Tons of standard equipment and a very reasonable price. A no brainer if you are looking for a compact with pretty good gas mileage and lots of zoom zoom.

Zoom up and down the road. - 2011 Mazda Mazda3
By Drive drive drive - September 6 - 10:00 amI decided to replace my 2007 Focus. Looked at 2010 Corrola, 2010 Civic and Accord. After reading reviews people said to look at the mazda3. I drive around 30k just to work and I wanted a fun but good car to drive. After test driving all of them the mazda3 was the one for me. The Toyota was the best deal for the money but felt numb to drive. Honda was nice but lacked bluetooth and nice radio. I got a great deal on a 2011 mazda3 s sport with Bose/roof package. I love how it drives. I hope it will give me the 200k+ miles I am looking for. So far getting 30 mpg on highway. And me driving so many miles I wanted fun to drive.

A half-priced Bimmer! - 2011 Mazda Mazda3
By paublo73 - May 6 - 8:17 pmI am downsizing from a Mazda CX-9 and it could not be any more painless. This car is a blast to drive. Im amazed how quick it is with the 2.0 motor and automatic. This motor has enough low end torque and the transmission is so well calibrated that it feels eager in all situations. I did test drive the Focus and while it does handle well, the transmission shifted too soon and masked that engines extra power. I was able to get the 3 at invoice price which was much cheaper than the Focus similarly equipped. The cabin is on the small side but Im short and the car seats fit, so I consider it "just right". This car is serving as a commuter/2nd car and so far its exceeded my expectations.

By baker - February 5 - 10:00 amI am in my mid 60s===not the typical buyer of this type of car . This car is a hoot to drive . Just a lot of fun . Reminds me of my younger years when I would just go for a ride to have fun . Responsive handling and more than enough power .

Great Sporty Car at a Great Price! - 2011 Mazda Mazda3
By gigit - January 6 - 11:13 amI loved my Mazda 3, which I recently gave to my husband when I bought a new Corolla. It looks so nice, Im crazy about the style of it. Its a fun ride as well, and its at a great price. We have had a few repairs on it. The front and back brakes went out very early and the horn broke, but these are minor problems. The only thing Im not too keen on is the jet black interior. Its a great car and Id definitely recommend getting one. Gas mileage isnt as good as what I hoped for, but its not terrible either. I think the new Mazdas with Skyactiv technology get better gas mileage. I also find that the paint chips easily (I have a white model)

King of the Compact Sports sedan - 2011 Mazda Mazda3
By Moses Tunde - September 24 - 10:00 amIt took me a while to decide on Mazda. It was my son who opened my eyes to the aesthetic masterpiece of the mazda3 design. After getting past the grinning front end, everything about mazda is sophisticated.I have the 6speed manual, which was a little hard to obtain. My car tackles corners with unparalleled confidence. The gearbox was a close ratio one and the best any car manufacturer ever invented. The ride is supple, yet not floaty; brake is very assuring, yet not blunt; Four wheel independent suspension indulges me, yet not compromising in handling. I do not have any gripe with my new mazda. Not only is the interior the highest quality of any car in it class, everything came standard! Bravo! mazda.

A nice change - 2011 Mazda Mazda3
By lanpingd - April 12 - 12:16 amBought this last month and has put on 600 miles. Had to say goodbye to our 2000 year Ford Taurus, its working fine but we relocated to SF bay area and parking was a headache. My wife is the main driver and she feels happy to make this "size" change: enough acceleration, relative spacious interior and trunk, stylish inside and out, and the parking can never be easier. The first two tanks averaged ~25MPG, mostly local with heavy traffics. Looking to keep this car for long time and we expect it to be no less reliable as the previous taurus. Good car for a budget-limited young couple!

High Value - 2011 Mazda Mazda3
By mazdat - November 26 - 12:16 pmIve heard good things about Mazda cars, and liked the looks of the 3, but never drove a Mazda until my 1997 Honda Accord EX with 200,000 plus miles needed more in repairs than I wanted to spend. The excellent driving dynamics of the 3, zero percent financing, and a great price loaded with options sold me on a 2011 Mazda 3 i Touring. The strengths of the 3 are handling, build quality, interior quality, good mileage, and an excellent Bose sound systems with Bluetooth phone/music player integration. My mileage with the 3 in a mix of city/highway driving was better than expected, returning 37 MPG employing a conservative driving style.

First new used car, and I love it! - 2011 Mazda Mazda3
By jugar123 - October 17 - 2:59 amIve bought this car about a month ago and put about 2,000 miles, and let me say, its amazing to drive. It handles the taconic curves like nobodies business. I love the bucket seats, makes the car feel like a sports car. I do have to admit, the back seat is a little tight for tall passengers, but its not a big deal at all. Its a perfect commuter car in my opinion. I average out 28-30, while doing 75-80 with the AC which is amazing. A full tank gets me about 450-500 miles thats mostly highway mileage . Great car.
