Mazda Skinny - 1999 Mazda 626
By redhawk - August 7 - 10:00 amThis was the second new Mazda I have purchased in since 1996. I have had only good experience with the Mazda 626. It is affordable and DEPENDABLE. That is why I am in the market for another one. Stick with something good.

Great Car - 1999 Mazda 626
By CCRAY - May 22 - 2:00 amI am very pleased with my decision. I had a 93 MX-6 with the same engine (2.5 V-6) and it is terrific. Wasnt sure what to expect with the automatic but it provides good power. The interior layout is very good, Im a big guy 63" 280 and have no problems. If it had the Honda nameplate it wouldve won every award, but I like Mazda because you can usually get a good deal and their build quality is good.

A great car to me - 1998 Mazda 626
By bald eagle - May 1 - 12:33 amWe purchased our 626 after reading in Consumer Guide that it was highly recommended year and model. We have really enjoyed driving this car. We get an honest to goodness average of 40 mpg. I drive it at 65 to 70 on the freeway and it handles well as far as I am concerned. It never burns any oil and I have gone to synthetic oil. Im keeping it till it dies because we have been so pleased with it. It only has 122,000 on the engine.

buy one - 2002 Mazda 626
By ski - March 17 - 2:00 amafter two months of test driving the 2003 altima, accord, and camry i stumbled upon the 626. i love the ride and comfort of the car. the 4 cyl could use a couple extra ponies, but, i wasnt looking for a sports car. i also could not pass up the price. 2002 with 6K and 2.5 yrs left on warranty for 13,000. i believe this was due to two rental companies filing bankruptcy and sending inventory to auction.

I love my Mazda - 1999 Mazda 626
By caris car - March 14 - 7:00 amMy car has over 110,000 miles on it; Yesterday I got almost 40 mpg, interstate driving @ 73 mph with AC, cruise when possible. My car needs a tune up too, but always gets regular oil changes. I added a spoiler, alloy wheels and a stripe at purchase giving the design a more finished look; people still remark at how sporty my car is. I would buy another same model or V6 when/if this one ever gives up. I have minor back problems and the seats are great even for long distances; the rotating fan is great for in between weather and saves AC. Good buy for my money.

1998 Mazda LX 2.0 L Automatic - 1998 Mazda 626
By tony049 - February 14 - 2:32 amI bought my car in 1998 new. Ive owned it for the past 16 years and have NEVER had one bit of problems. The only thing Ive done is change the oil regularly, replaced one set of complete tires, and have had regular service intervals. Car still looks good and the interior still looks new. Ive never regretted buying this car. Gas mileage is good but could be better but I have no complaints. This is a great car!

reliable and fun to drive - 2001 Mazda 626
By oncerest - December 17 - 10:00 amI bought it as the first look. As a used car, it doesnt cost that much as Honda, and certainly a good value. Since we bought it, it has been reliable, and just change oil every 3 months. And with that good price, I can use extra money to buy good warranty

Very Good, Zoom Zoom Zoom - 2002 Mazda 626
By China Doll - September 3 - 2:00 amIm not a race car driver. Im a working mother with 2 kids. I have received complements by others on how smooth it drives and how nice the interior looks. I have also had complements from people on the street on how they like the car and they wanted to know what kind of car it was. The car excelerates great for me and handles really well. When I travel with the kids from time to time to the beach it would be nice to have some lumbar support. Other than that I love my 626 Zoom Zoom Zoom.
