Excellent car for the money - 2000 Mazda 626
By Tex626 - July 5 - 6:30 pmMy 2000 626 LX is coming up on 90,000 trouble free miles. All I have ever done is normal maintenance. Although some more horsepower might be nice, I like the great gas mileage, excellent handling, and excellent reliability. It is a fun car to drive. This was my first Mazda and I have already bought a 2nd Mazda. Great Car!

1999 Mazda 626V6LX - 1999 Mazda 626
By Donaldavid - July 1 - 10:00 amThis has been a great car, it has not cost one cent in repairs, handles very well, has plenty of power, and is very quiet. I am a Mazda fan, as this is my 3rd Mazda and I have no complaints about any of them. Just as good as an Accord or Camry for a lot less money (although the resale value is not as good). I cant wait to buy the new 6, but will have to wait till this one is paid for.

Excellent. - 1998 Mazda 626
By mrwildwood - May 4 - 2:00 amI love it. The only quirks it has is the auto tranmission, its alittle jerky untill you get used to how to let off on the gas, but other than that its great. Very smooth, good fit and finish, and one of the best factory sound systems in the industry. The only other thing thing about this car is the oil filter location...why? The instruction manual says to get the oil changed at a dealer because of the "special tool" needed to change it. Again I ask....why?

we like our 626 - 1999 Mazda 626
By C.A.M. - April 15 - 10:00 amWe are very happy with this used car. It gives no trouble and is quiet. AC and heat are good. Handling excellent for a sedan. Really sticks to the road. Husband wasnt sure about car at first but he really likes it now that we have owned it for 2+ years. We do have to get the AC system worked on next Spring as it quit cooling. we plan to keep this car as long as possible.

Best Car I Ever Owned - 1998 Mazda 626
By JGansauer - December 7 - 10:00 amWithout a doubt, the best car I ever owned. I gave my son this car a year ago for him to drive to work. Later, I sold him my truck and he returned the Mazda. I fully intended to trade it in for whatever it was worth, considering it had 122,000 miles on it. The moment I got in again, after a year, I realized I couldnt get rid of it. It was too reliable and too good a ride. I had a mechanic check it out. It only needed new spark plug wires. In 124,000 miles, besides the usual maintenance, only the water pump failed (at about 30,000 miles) which was under warantee. Well worth the $22,000 or so I spent on it.

Dont buy kee max - 2001 Mazda 626
By nokeemax - November 2 - 7:53 amI bought this car from kee max several years ago, the engine blew before I made it home (less than 15 miles). Kee max buys cars from auction and puts them directly on their lot. After spending approx $2500 on a new engine, this car keeps going and going. It now has over 144,000 miles and still going strong.

Very happy with my 626 - 1998 Mazda 626
By Happyw/626 - August 12 - 2:00 amI am very happy with my Mazda 626. I purchased it 1.5 years ago The car has been very reliable and I have put 22000 miles on it and no problems since new. I feel that for a $21,000 car new, its an exceptional value. I am suprised that the trade in value is only $4100 as it is a quality car and rates up there with the higher end ones. I read these complaints that people have and have to laugh. They buy the car used, dont know who had it first, then complain that its Mazda? Who knows what kind of driver may have beat the car for the for 50,000 miles. Think about it?
