good car - 2000 Mazda 626
By Jacquelyn Beaver - January 16 - 11:46 pmI found that it is a great, reliable car as long as you keep up with oil changes and tune-ups. Its not fancy, but if youre looking for a comfortable car for your passengers, its nice and roomy. It doesnt get as good of gas mileage as I hoped but its not as bad as my Bronco was. Its a great family sedan.

Sensible Buy - 1999 Mazda 626
By technoguys - December 7 - 10:00 amI bought this car as a used car from dealer. It is a 1999 with 24K miles, for about 13K on road. I have put about 11K miles on it. No probs so far, just regular oil change, 30K service & not a cent more. We did a 2000 miles in four days & it was cool.

good car for the price - 2002 Mazda 626
By hydro21 - September 3 - 10:00 ami bought this car 2 months ago and so far i love it. the v6 gives you a lot of power though it seems a little sluggish in city driving. the leather seats makes the car look and feel a lot more luxurious then it is. id get the V6 because the 4 cyclinder doesnt have any power. the ride is smooth but i wish the steering was a little tighter it has more of a big car feeling. its spacey and the interior looks plain but nice. This is a really good car.

Never Again - 1999 Mazda 626
By Very Confused - September 1 - 2:56 pmI bought my car in 06 from a private owner. The car was in great condition and had 62k miles on it. 6 months after buying the car my the cd player decided it no longer wanted to play cds, the antenna will not go down and it makes this horrible noise whenever I put the radio on, now the AC doesnt work anymore I was told that the entire dash board needs to come out for the problem to be fixed $$$$$, also the power door locks doesnt work any more that too is making an awful loud noise that I cant stand This car is more of a headache than anything else. I wish i would have done more research on these types of cars and i only have 83,246 miles imagine what will happen at 40,000 save your money

2000 Mazda 626 - 2000 Mazda 626
By Ruby21 - August 14 - 10:00 amI went from a sporty two-door coupe to my 626 to make room for my new baby. I have no complaints. I financed my car through Mazda American Credit and have been overly impressed with the service I have received and the performance of my car.

Wish it still ran - 1998 Mazda 626
By Brittany - June 2 - 12:43 amBought this car for $2000, loved it. I drove it till this year when the third transmission went out. Ive put at least $3500 into the car just in fixing it. The front axle had to be replaced transmission is out would replace it again but cannot find one. Over all the car has 171,000mls. I got my money out of it, now its just setting around till someone buys it. Wonderful body, and love the sun roof. The car ran good, but also ran through a lot of money.

Good for commuting - 2002 Mazda 626
By commuterdriver - May 30 - 9:10 amI bought it when it was a year old and it has been a good commuter car. Nothing really bad about it. The horsepower is a little weak when going up big hills though. Last 10,000 miles or so, the engine has developed this buzz that has not gone away. Someday I will take it to the Mazda dealer to analyze.

Just bought - 2000 Mazda 626
By Echo1 - May 1 - 11:00 amI just bought my 626, used of course, but I think its going to be a good investment. I love the body style and its running great except for the hiccup with first gear. Ive read some of the previous reviews and am worried about the transmission, but my dealer offers a warranty on it for 2 years. I think I will take one persons advice and install a tranny cooler as soon as possible. Thanks to everyone for their great reviews and heads up! I hope this car will take me pretty far.
