Overview & Reviews
The Lexus RX 350 is a vehicle that's comfortable in its own metal. And why wouldn't it be? This midsize luxury crossover SUV has long been a consumer favorite thanks to its plush ride, spacious interior, strong reliability record and appealing high-tech features. While the RX 350 doesn't promise much in the way of driving passion, its combination of comfort and convenience is hard to top in a five-passenger luxury crossover. It also commands lofty resale values due to that sterling Lexus reputation.
Offering either front- or all-wheel drive, the RX 350 dates back to 2007, when it was introduced as a continuation of the RX 330. It has received significant upgrades in cabin technology over the years, but a generous standard features list and excellent build quality are a given with any Lexus RX 350. Unless you need the versatility of a third-row seat, this Lexus is likely to be a compelling proposition.

RX350 Needs Work - 2008 Lexus RX 350
By uforgetaboutit - December 25 - 10:43 pmThis is our 3rd RX out of 4. Good ride and features, interior. Navi console impressive but difficult. If you want navigation get a Nuvi or Tom-Tom and save yourself $2k. Backup camera & Bluetooth good features but no IPod or MP3 input (BTW whats with the tape player). Lock-out during driving sucks... give us a break big brother! Maps and POI are out of date... maybe 2005 maps best guess. Update are extra service charge. Ride is rough. Tires loud, interior noise very high (road, engine). Overall comfort for 4 OK but dont drive too far without a break. We get 21-23 mpg not bad. Lawnmower engine but its perky. Price value more like $30K instead of $40K. Might be our last RX after lease

An awesome RX 350 ! - 2015 Lexus RX 350
By RonnL - December 25 - 3:05 pmRecently traded a 2015 Lexus NX for a 2015 Lexus RX350 . There is a huge difference in the ride quality. The NX was just too small. Coming from a Highlander, the RX is a much better fit ! Several have commented on the ride of the RX...I find it very smooth and quiet. The seats are very comfortable, and I got a loaded RX. The Heads Up Display is one of my favorite features. Your eyes stay on the road while the speed is flashed in the windshield. The Mark L. sound system is also awesome. Just spend a little time getting the balance and adjustments right on it. As the new 2016 RX350 will soon be out, it was just too big, and the 2015 has the better look IMO. Im not a fan of the huge front grill on the 2016. Mine has most everything you can get on it, and its fun on the highway, unlike other reviews that say its boring. Sure, its not a sporty ride, but it isnt intended to be one. While I love the looks and came close to an X5, the Lexus reliability and awesome service keeps me coming back. You cant go wrong with the RX, and right now there are some amazing deals on them at the end of the year.

Good car, except for the rattle - 2008 Lexus RX 350
By Mary - December 19 - 9:10 pmI have had my Lexus for over a year now, and it is a great vehicle. Very powerful, nice looking, and nice interior. But I just started hearing a rattle on the passenger side window that is very annoying. At first it seemed like it was just on bumpy roads, but now its getting worse. I am going to ask the dealer about it. Other than that a very nice car.

Incredible vehicle - 2008 Lexus RX 350
By K. Denison - December 2 - 7:16 amAlthough I have only had this vehicle for a few weeks, I can say without a doubt that it is the most dynamic vehicle I have ever driven. The quality is outstanding. I love everything about it. Couldnt be happier with this purchase.

Problem with rustling noise - 2010 Lexus RX 350
By mml - November 22 - 4:33 amI bought a new one a month ago. Four- wheel drive with every option available. The car drives really nice. It feels solid and quite on highway. However, I have been hearing this rustling noise from the driver side door/window area when the road is bumpy. See if you all can produce this problem. I believe its a design issue. I was very annoyed by it at first. When the road is bumpy, or any slight uneven road, I can hear that rustling noise from the driver side door/window area. It sounds like the side window is not installed tight/correctly. Imagine you have something loose in your pocket and you hear the little noise when you jump. I heard the same thing when I drove a loaner.

Happy with my 5th Lexus Rx350 - 2016 Lexus RX 350
By Keith Vinnecour - November 14 - 5:53 pmI am happy with the deal I received at Keys Lexus, which was not matched by a local dealer or three that were recommended by Edmunds. I would have liked different interior choises. I could not get grey, what I wanted and so I chose Palomino. This came with brown dash, which I am less than thrilled with. The car drives and handles superbly and the ride is the best of all of the RX 350s I have owned. I would have loved to have more technology, but they were cost prohibitive for me. My last one only got 17 MPG and I am hoping for much better mileage in this car. I have not owned the car long enough to rate this car correctly.

Used to Own 2 MDXs Before - 2017 Lexus RX 350
By cooljohn - November 10 - 12:54 amI used to own both 2011 & 2014 MDXs but switched recently to 2017 RX 350 (Luxury Package). MDX has good acceleration/passing and excellent cornering. Other than those, RH 350 is better in every aspect. 2014 MDX had serious quality control problems like constant rattling from the under, scary noise when accelerating, steering getting stuck/making scary noise when switching transmission from rear to drive, almost impossible to drive on foggy/wet days due to defective mirror defrost function, backup camera almost impossible to use on wet days because of the stupid location of camera, and on and on. I took it to a dealer but all they said was there was nothing wrong with the car!! I got sickened with their response and decided to switch to RX 350 and I think I made a good decision so far. I have yet to drive more but so far Im very satisfied with RX 350 in every aspect.

New 2010 RX 350 - Lots of Systems Problems - 2010 Lexus RX 350
By omgl777 - November 7 - 3:06 amMy new 2010 RX 350 started off great. This good feeling lasted about 2 months until my first technical problem. Since the new Navi/radio system is so intricate and connected to everything, Ive had problems with the climate controls, Navitraffic, XM Satellite radio and HUD display. Im in shock. I thought Lexus quality stood for more. Well, my car has been back to the dealer 4 times, each visit averaging 3 days. Every time, the same story, we need to research this, we are unfamiliar with the new systems. I think I should have waited until they had gotten the bugs out. How frustrating my new car experience has been. Be forewarned.

Over committed, under delivered - 2017 Lexus RX 350
By Jim C - November 7 - 1:20 amHave only had the RX350 for 2 weeks. Ride is smooth, handling is good, overall a good car, but not great.. The packages are hokey. The hands free tail gate which is on almost every car has worked once. Try to use it and Im out there waving my hand over the sensor, looking like an idiot and then need to open it conventionally. This wouldnt bother me except they charge $200 for this worthless option and it is packaged in most cars. Another such option is the heated steering wheel. Cant even tell it is on. The Navigation system which ties to your phone (Scout GP) is worthless. It cant decipher what you are asking. Neither my wife or I have had any luck with it trying business names, addresses, anything. Havent tried the remote start via phone app yet, but it is disappointing that a car in this price range doesnt have one standard. If it does end up working, it t is free for one year, then $160 per year afterwards....Too expensive, will ultimately end up putting in an aftermarket starter. When we picked the car up, they wasted too much time trying to sell add on packages and spent very little time explaining the features. Wasted time rebooting the entire car because the hands free tail gate wouldnt work. Overall, much less than the stellar buying experience Lexus advertises. Lexus obviously has a loyal base and as such is stingy with discounting, but I would suggest giving similar cars a better look. Over priced for what is delivered.
