Overview & Reviews
The Lexus RX 350 is a vehicle that's comfortable in its own metal. And why wouldn't it be? This midsize luxury crossover SUV has long been a consumer favorite thanks to its plush ride, spacious interior, strong reliability record and appealing high-tech features. While the RX 350 doesn't promise much in the way of driving passion, its combination of comfort and convenience is hard to top in a five-passenger luxury crossover. It also commands lofty resale values due to that sterling Lexus reputation.
Offering either front- or all-wheel drive, the RX 350 dates back to 2007, when it was introduced as a continuation of the RX 330. It has received significant upgrades in cabin technology over the years, but a generous standard features list and excellent build quality are a given with any Lexus RX 350. Unless you need the versatility of a third-row seat, this Lexus is likely to be a compelling proposition.

Should buy MDX F/L , biger, better design in side, - 2011 Lexus RX 350
By jamgari - April 28 - 3:24 pmLike all cars there is a good thinks and not good ones. in this model i can say Lexus could do more inside of the car, design is so cheap with dashboard , at least Lexus should remove that ugly grey color of metal look. under arm glove department is so uncofy to reach since some [violative content deleted] designer decided to open it only half way, u have to open it with right hand and get what u want with left. plus space under ur right foot is for what? cant freaking reach it anyway.

Unsafe vehicle - avoid at any cost - 2010 Lexus RX 350
By LexusOldCustomer - April 25 - 10:06 amHave had this car for a month. While it drives better than our previous 2007 Rx this vehicle has a fatal design flaw - it rolls back on even slight incline. The dealership says that it is normal and they cannot do anything about that. The previous RX did not do that and so does not our much cheaper 2007 Civic. The car is unsafe to operate. Avoid.

Terriblly uncomfortable seats - 2010 Lexus RX 350
By Laura G - April 24 - 6:50 pmI picked the new RX trying to get better fuel economy and for more comfort for passengers. The fuel economy is just ok. Highway I am getting 24.5. City 18.5. I was getting 18.5 in my V-8 4-runner. So I gave up my nice V-8 torque for basically the same fuel economy. This is no family trip mobile. It is terribly uncomfortable. I am 5 foot 9 and average weight... maybe if you are petite it would be ok. My legs tingle and go to sleep while driving on long trips. My back is hurting still from our 10 hour ride back from vacation.

Better Than Benz - 2008 Lexus RX 350
By Jim - April 24 - 8:30 amWe carefully selected the RX 350 on reliability, resale and original price and have been very pleased with the vehicle. We bought a new E-350 Benz about the same time, paid $12K more, and got less value than the Lexus. The Lexus navigation and accessories are touch-screen, all the controls are easily accessible and although a very complex machine, is user friendly. The Benz and a new BMW 5-series in our family require a degree in computer science and a full stop to do the same thing the Lexus system does. Sensible driving gets 20 mpg in local traffic.

Highlander has better interior and ride - 2015 Lexus RX 350
By Fred MacMurray - March 31 - 8:58 amThis review is based on a test drive, not ownership. Shopping for a mid-sized, crossover for the wife to replace her 15 year old Sequoia. The kids are grown so it was time to move down on size and up in luxury. I really thought the RX would be a great fit. The wife wants a Toyota as we have had great experience with them from a reliability standpoint but she wants something easier to handle in parking lots (which would be damn near anything compared to the Sequoia). We dont like the wild styling of the new RX so we went to look at CPO 2015s. As soon as we got in, we were both taken back. Everything I read talked about the quality of the interior materials. Huh? Where are they looking? I saw a sea of cheap looking, hard plastic. The door panels were just slabs of plastic as was most of the dash. The Sequoia has a much nicer interior. Then we drove it. I didnt expect a sports sedan, or even an engaging driving experience but this was horrible. It wallowed around turns and floated over undulations like it was on springs with no damping. Disappointed, we went down the street to the Toyota dealer to check out the Highlander. What a difference. The interior was much nicer, with nice, soft simulated leather covering the dash and soft inserts in the door panels. And it drove much better, handling seemed secure and bumps smoothed out. I just amazes me that for these two corporate cousins, the Toyota drives better and has a more luxurious interior for a lot less money than the Lexus.

Gets better the more I drive it - 2017 Lexus RX 350
By JM - March 26 - 6:42 pmIts simply the best overall car Ive had. Its quiet and comfortable. Soaks up bumps and pot holes like a champ, which is appreciated where the roads arent so great. Its not a performance car by any means, but its got plenty of get-up for my tastes. I love all the driver assistant technology (dynamic cruise control, lane keep assist, blind spot monitor, heads up display, etc.) and parking assist functions. I think it looks great inside and out and I get a ton of compliments. I truly believe this is the best interior in its class, I opted for the bamboo and parchment and its really slick looking. My only major gripe is the navigation system which is basically garbage compared to Google maps. However, its still worth getting it because it comes with the awesome 12.3" inch screen and Mark Levinson sound system.

2010 Lexus RX350 - 2010 Lexus RX 350
By Cincy - March 16 - 10:00 amLexus is world class in its cars and SUVs. But the new RX falls short in a few areas, see below.

Remote Control - 2010 Lexus RX 350
By Teta - March 15 - 5:10 pmIf you are ready to purchase a Lexus SUV or other Toyota vehicle, do not get remote start. It doesnt work as this is the first year theyve had it and havent been cooperating to fix it. Claim the signals are not communicating between the vehicle and key. You have to stand 10 ft. from the vehicle to activate it! Very bad feature. Even some dealers that are honest will tell you this!! Also, back hatch has to be lifted some to get it to go up automatically if doing it manually.

Inferior Tires - 2008 Lexus RX 350
By Joe - March 13 - 2:30 amVehicle drives and handles great overall. Car had tendency to pull to right while driving. Dealer re-balanced tires and realigned front end on several occasions, but vehicle still had slight pull to right. Around 15,000 miles, car started making a roaring sound while driving (sound like excessive road noise). When I took the car in for the 15,000 mile checkup, dealer informed me that tires needed changing. Dealer said Lexus cars come equipped with low quality tires (Goodyear). Replaced the Goodyear tires with Michelin tires which were recommended by the dealer. By the way, I had to pay for two of the new Michelin tires. Never had a tire wear out in 15,000 miles (40 year driver).
