Model Overview:

The Lexus RX 350 is a vehicle that's comfortable in its own metal. And why wouldn't it be? This midsize luxury crossover SUV has long been a consumer favorite thanks to its plush ride, spacious interior, strong reliability record and appealing high-tech features. While the RX 350 doesn't promise much in the way of driving passion, its combination of comfort and convenience is hard to top in a five-passenger luxury crossover. It also commands lofty resale values due to that sterling Lexus reputation.

Offering either front- or all-wheel drive, the RX 350 dates back to 2007, when it was introduced as a continuation of the RX 330. It has received significant upgrades in cabin technology over the years, but a generous standard features list and excellent build quality are a given with any Lexus RX 350. Unless you need the versatility of a third-row seat, this Lexus is likely to be a compelling proposition.

  • Jack of many trades, master of all? - 2008 Lexus RX 350

My wife and I love our Lexus RX 350, an amazing blend of ideal traits providing the utility of an SUV, exceptionally smooth driving experience, startling acceleration for an SUV, incredible gas mileage for an SUV (were averaging 23.5 mpg in mixed driving), very smart interior layout with little extra touches like the extra retractable cup holder to the left of the steering wheel in addition to the console cup holders. Its extremely comfortable, making short and long trips a pleasure, etc. Its quite evident that a lot of thought went into this vehicle. Its so versatile without compromising performance, safety, quality, or comfort.

  • To start or not to start - 2017 Lexus RX 350

There is a technical glitch with this model that Lexus hasn’t come up with a fix for. Periodically, about 4 times a month, the car won’t start when first turned over. A message appears that states “ Braking power low. Pull off the road. Check owners manual”. Lexus says to keep trying, push the petal harder and the car will start on the second, third or fourth try. They claim the car is functioning normally. My other Rx’s never had this problem. Be prepared to face this surprise each morning!

  • A lot room for improvement as a "Luxury" vehicle - 2017 Lexus RX 350

The front wind shield wiper makes annoying noise when the blade hits the left end. The newly designed rear wipers can not reach the lower left and upper right corner under raining condition and create blind spots. The acceleration peddle is very noisy when it is released and this should never happen to a "Luxury" vehicle. The discomfort seats give a feeling of riding on a cheap truck.

  • Gridlines Disappeared - 2015 Lexus RX 350
    By -

Overall I love this car, however, a recent experience has opened my eyes to what Lexus is willing to do to create a positive customer service experience. I have had this 2015 RX for 2 months. I brought it in to service this week due to the fact that the gridlines disappeared when backing up. I am being told now that the navigation system in the 2015 and camera system does not come with gridlines. I feel that these folks are calling me a liar. Why on earth would I take my car for service and ask them to fix this issue if they were never there to begin with. Service manager has contacted Lexus technical assistance and checked other 2015 models and is basically stating that the car was never equipped with the lines. I am not a happy customer........Those lines helped guide me when backing in to a tight space.

We recently purchased the Lexus RX 350 and love it! The ride is so smooth. Fuel mileage is better than average and I love the rear door power buttton.

  • Definitely worth a look - 2010 Lexus RX 350

Im a first-time Lexus owner. I traded my Honda Ridgeline pickup for a 2010 Lexus RX350 crossover as I was looking for something smaller that had plenty of cargo space plus the AWD capability for Colorado snowstorms. I must say I am quite impressed. I was seriously torn between the RX350 and the Volvo XC60, but the Lexus won out when I test drove both (3 times) and found the Lexus had more hip/shoulder room for my 62" frame, yet was very easy to load and enter/exit for my 50" wife. I believe the RX350 is built on a Toyota Camry frame, which gives it a great smooth ride that doesnt have that stiff "truck" ride that some SUVs have. So far, MPG are 23-24 after one tank of 87 octane.

This is my 3rd SUV and it is definitely the best. My first was a 1980 K5 Blazer and the second was a 1992 Explorer, both bought new. This is also my 3rd Lexus and the build quality and service is why I like this brand. So far this SUV has been a pleasure to drive. It has the Premium Plus pkg., 18 inch 7 spoke wheels, heated seats and rain sensor wipers, towing pkg. Cargo room is a little small behind back seats but fine when back seats are lowered. I plan to use it for hunting, fishing and carrying my dogs as well as domestic uses.

  • Slightly Disappointed but Good Overall - 2011 Lexus RX 350
    By -

I previously owned a 2004 RX330 and I wish Id have kept it. The older Lexus models felt to have some personality, these new ones dont, theyre like appliances. The RX is a nice place to be however, its one of the most comfortable riding cars Ive ever been in. But thats not enough to make up for its shortfalls.

  • Dont believe the few bad reviews - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

Do not believe the few bad reviews here. I STRONGLY believe, in my opinion only, that these are spies from the other car companies, the closest competitors writing some of this nonsense. Just a warning. Use your common sense. I have owned the car for almost a year now. Fact: it is the smoothest and quietest SUV you can buy. People are posting that its a little trucky but there is a little truth to that, but please note this is the best of all competitors out there. Fact: center console does fail miserably in design. But, I can live with it. I just drove to the Sequioas and a new X5 overheated, I just zoomed by laughing. Fact: Lexus is the most reliable car available
