Model Overview:

The Lexus RX 350 is a vehicle that's comfortable in its own metal. And why wouldn't it be? This midsize luxury crossover SUV has long been a consumer favorite thanks to its plush ride, spacious interior, strong reliability record and appealing high-tech features. While the RX 350 doesn't promise much in the way of driving passion, its combination of comfort and convenience is hard to top in a five-passenger luxury crossover. It also commands lofty resale values due to that sterling Lexus reputation.

Offering either front- or all-wheel drive, the RX 350 dates back to 2007, when it was introduced as a continuation of the RX 330. It has received significant upgrades in cabin technology over the years, but a generous standard features list and excellent build quality are a given with any Lexus RX 350. Unless you need the versatility of a third-row seat, this Lexus is likely to be a compelling proposition.

Lexus has done it again. This model(3rd generation) is the fastest yet. Has its legendary smooth ride and I love the key less features. The bluetooth works well. So far my fuel mileage is not as good as my 2009, but I expect this to improve. There are other less expensive SUVs, but the feel of a Lexus cant be beat.

This is my first Lexus. After two months of driving, I am extremely pleased with my decision to purchase this vehicle over BMW, Mercedes and Accura options that I test drove and considered carefully. Very solid feel with smooth and quite ride. Good performance, and gas mileage is even better than advertised. I have been in older versions of RX350 and the 2010 version looks better inside and out, and drives much better. I have read some of the negative comments that have been posted and I can not relate at all. My standards for excellence are high and the RX 350 is an excellent SUV. Go test drive a used 2009 RX 350, and the other options. 2010 RX is a real winner.

  • Sharp lookin vehicle - 2007 Lexus RX 350

Merry Christmas, my husband surprised me on christmas with this wonderful vehicle. Its been a week now, love the drive, the beauty of the vehicle. Negatives: based upon the cost, beauty and name alone - this vehicle should come with a much better sound systems, softer leather seats, and among all things the rear backing feature (this feature is standard in the Nissan Murano) where you can view backing up without having the standard navigational system. I love Lexus vehicles, this is our 3rd lexus - first SUV. Would I trade it for something else??? NAWW.... Though the new Acura MDX did catch my eye!

  • Loving it! - 2007 Lexus RX 350

Were now on our 4th Lexus and this is our second RX, the first being the original 1999 version. Many, many improvements and available options. It is so easy to get into to drive, especially with my bad back. Im looking forward to many miles.

  • Lexus Navigation system lousy - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

Overall the vehicle is fine. Its comfortable and has many features. Id recommend the car itself but not the purchase of the navigation system. When the car is in motion the navigation menu options are unavailable except for eDestinations which is a subscription service available for a fee. You can issue voice commands to the GPS while driving however the information returned is extremely limited. A query to the POI for example returns 3 choices. Effectively the navigation system is useless while driving. Technically you probably shouldnt use it while driving but theres no option to allow your passenger to use it either. You are better off buying a portable or aftermarket GPS system.

  • Consider other vehicles - 2008 Lexus RX 350

Purchased the vehicle mid Dec. 2007. This is our first Lexus. Currently has less than 3000 miles. Car has plenty of pep, very quick and responsive handling. Easy to park and a fun car to drive on short trips around town. Not a vehicle for a long trip. Very disappointed in the ride and road noise. Expected the ride to be much smoother and quieter especially for a Lexus. Cannot compare to my E Class MB. This a good vehicle for the lady of the family. I thought I would give the Lexus LS 460 a try in a year or so. After purchasing the RX 350 Ive decided to stay with MB.

  • Elegance, Sophistication, Power - 2013 Lexus RX 350

Lexus spoiled me. After driving my GS 300 22 years and 191,100 miles I thought Id like to drive a newer car. I test drove several Toyotas including the Highlander and was close to being sold until I went across the street to Lexus. Ah, the comfort of my GS 300, the beauty of the elegant lines, gorgeous starfire pearl exterior and parchment interior and supremely quiet inside. How could I ever accept any other car? I cant, never will. This is a most exceptional car and, after looking and researching this model for 3 years, I finally have my dream car. Its about as perfect as one will find with a roomy interior and power on the road. What a beautiful, elegant vehicle. There is only one little annoyance: Im a petite person at 52" and, even when the drivers seat is adjusted as high as possible, I cannot see on the other side of either side mirrors. The size and placement of the mirrors completely blocks my view of any other car that may be close to me. I have to jump up and arch around the impediment to see any car I might hit or any curb I approach in a turn. My GS 300 had the mirrors lower than eye level and I never had a problem seeing any other cars. For this reason my next car will probably be another Lexus but a more driver-friendly, safer view one. Word to the wise: Be sure your Lexus RX 350 Is made in Japan not in North America. Nothing excels Japanese attention to detail, pride in workmanship and acceptance of nothing less than perfection. Teaching American workers about technical requirements doesnt convey teaching ethics and a sense of self worth that extends to Japanese made products. Those are the cultural differences. Youll be able to tell the country of manufacture by the VIN number. When it begins with a "J" its made in Japan. Anything else, like a "2" and its made in Canada. You take your chances if its not made by the Japanese.

  • Enform - 2013 Lexus RX 350
    By -

The Lexus Emform suite is poorly designed and never should have been released. There are numerous bugs, the most annoying being the failure of Pandora to operate. Dealer had no answers or fix saying Lexus is working on the issues. Its fairly obvious that product/software testing was not adequate prior to releasing.

I bought this car two weeks ago, after looking extensively at the Acura MDX, which was the only serious competition in the price range. I have driven other RXs, and though nice, were too isolated in driving dynamics. The 2010 is far different. Its ride quality is similar to that of a Mercedes sedan. Solid, quiet, sporty, not isolated at all with a nice amount of engine noise. It has a nice heft and handles with aplomb. This is not an enthusiast ride, but when do you really need a sports car experience in an SUV? It is solid, extremely comfortable, and has excellent performance. The new NAV system is excellent, and the Ipod and Bluetooth interfaces work well. Satisfied thus far.

I vowed to never buy another car brand new, I drive a lot and it just made since to trade in my car for a new one. I was so in love with my first 350 that I new I would stick with this car. The upgrade has been very accomodating, I still feel like im driving my other car, the upgrades are perfect but not overbearing. I would recommend this vehicle anytime
