Model Overview:

The Lexus RX 350 is a vehicle that's comfortable in its own metal. And why wouldn't it be? This midsize luxury crossover SUV has long been a consumer favorite thanks to its plush ride, spacious interior, strong reliability record and appealing high-tech features. While the RX 350 doesn't promise much in the way of driving passion, its combination of comfort and convenience is hard to top in a five-passenger luxury crossover. It also commands lofty resale values due to that sterling Lexus reputation.

Offering either front- or all-wheel drive, the RX 350 dates back to 2007, when it was introduced as a continuation of the RX 330. It has received significant upgrades in cabin technology over the years, but a generous standard features list and excellent build quality are a given with any Lexus RX 350. Unless you need the versatility of a third-row seat, this Lexus is likely to be a compelling proposition.

  • Could Have Done Better - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

Have owned my first Lexus for 6 mos. A great handling car with nice features but: Way too stiff ride for a luxury car, excessive wind noise (always sounds like a window is cracked), center console is awkward to get into and the USB and power outlets are too hard to reach down in the bottom. NAV system is nice but only a small portion works while moving, even on bluetooth. While driving on a highway, you have to get off & find a place to park to have full use of it. Not too practical when driving down the hwy and wanting to find food or shopping!

  • Bumper defect - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

Several problems with my wifes car. First, the front right bumper pops out since the car was new. The dealership says we damaged it, but we didnt. Access to the charger is difficult if not impossible. Controls for seat heaters are difficult to access. Changing the tirp computer is impossible while driving because the controls are obscured by the steering wheel. Also, the general quality of materials is poor, easily scratched with normal use. For instance, the plastic trim in rear hatch scratches easily if brushed with objects placed into the car. After a short while, there are many scratches and abrasions appearing. Materials less durable than BMW or Land Rover.

  • Great Overall Drive - Horrible Fuel! - 2010 Lexus RX 350

Fuel economy was way below what I thought/heard/read! I average 8 as do mostly inner city driving. On the hwys its a totally diff story but still tight. For me its worth it :)

  • Lexus discomfort - 2012 Lexus RX 350
    By -

Having just completed an 1800 miles road trip I have to report that both I and my wife found that the seats were not ergonomically supportive. On drives of only 150 miles we found that we both suffered from lower back pain, especially in the passenger seat. The lumber support is quite inadequate. I never suffered these pains when I drove my BMW X5 as much as 400 miles in one day.Other criticisms of the car are - view of the clock is blocked by ones right arm: the outside temperature numbers show very small: there is no storage for glasses: the trunk area has poor additional cubby spaces: the reversing camera is poor - my KIA Sorento was much more accurate. I would not buy another one.

  • Darth Vadar Grill....Love it. - 2016 Lexus RX 350
    By -

I looked, and said,....wow. what a grill. I think of Star Wars, even the color is outer limits, Nebula grey. I am happy with the look, feel, drive. I have many things to learn on this car. She is high tech. I barely understand the apps on my iPhone, so it can be daunting. I liked that my dealer offered free car washes for the life of the car. I traded in the Merc. SUV and no regrets. I have the double moon roof, she feels like a limo.

  • DO NOT LEASE OR BUY - 2016 Lexus RX 350
    By -

I was very upset to say that car does not offer the technology as customers like to have in year 2016, the options to customize your options is horrible. I had a Ford Limited Explorer simple things like locking the car doors by its self automatically is awesome to have to save your belongs from getting stolen from your vehicle. The ac options and to many things to learning curved is hard take a few days and I am a young tech guy. I feel they can do better not happy my first Lexus not very happy.

  • Very Happy Lexus Owner - 2007 Lexus RX 350
    By -

My first Lexus (1998 ES 300) I drove 164,000 miles absolutly no problems. The Lexus 2007 RX 350 that replace it now has 27,850 and absolutly no problems. There is a pattern here. The quality, fit and finish are 1st rate. Yes, it costs a little more in the initial purchase price but you get it back many times over in reliability, comfort and safety. I am an engineer by profession and I am really picky.

  • Worth waiting for - 2016 Lexus RX 350
    By -

I traded my 2005 RX for the new 2016 model. I was ready to get a new RX two years ago but waited to see the new model as I saw the news trickle in over the past year. My 2005 RX was in great shape and a joy to drive so we had the luxury of waiting. I worked with the local Lexus dealer to keep me informed, put a deposit to hold one of the first units delivered and bought mine November 6th. Normally I would not buy a new model this early but its a Lexus and I have had zero problems with the previous one and none thus far with the 2016. So, I can somewhat compare to my 2005 which had all options and the new model which has all options except AWD which I did not want. First, this car is larger than the earlier models. The specs dont tell the reality but you can see it and feel it in the interior. The exterior look for me was a bonus. I have the 20" wheels and they are awesome with the back inserts. The Triple Beam LED lighting and the aggressive grill give a younger appearance to the RX. Our exterior is Eminent White and interior Parchment. The interior layout is nicely done and mostly intuitive, especially is you have had a previous RX. As far as features, the Navigation and split screen on the 12.3" display is a big improvement to also control the audio, phone, climate and information. We had rain sensing windshield wipers before and would not buy a car without them. The big surprise was the color heads-up display which is integrated with the navigation and other information. Looks great and works great. Another feature we like is the Dynamic Cruise: Set it and the radar adjusts the distance set for moving traffic and its all shown in the HUD (cant get any easier for interstate driving long distance). As far as performance, its not a BMW and should not expect that type of car. It handles great for driving on rural and highway roads but dont take it to the track. The car is extremely quiet even at interstate speeds and local bumpy roads. For the almost two months of driving we have been getting about 25 MPG which is about what I expected. (If I was in Atlanta traffic I am sure it would be worse, but I moved from there). In summary, glad I waited. Not disappointed and surprised at the synergy of technology and driving experience. And of course the Lexus reliability. May keep this one for 11 years as well.

  • Love it - 2011 Lexus RX 350
    By -

Purchased in 2013/this app wont let me enter the year. This is my first Lexus, and Ive been really pleased with the vehicle and dealer. My only complaint is the stone chip problem -- the paint has only to look at a stone, and it chips. Touch ups -- even those done by my body shop -- dont seem to stick.
