Model Overview:

The Lexus RX 350 is a vehicle that's comfortable in its own metal. And why wouldn't it be? This midsize luxury crossover SUV has long been a consumer favorite thanks to its plush ride, spacious interior, strong reliability record and appealing high-tech features. While the RX 350 doesn't promise much in the way of driving passion, its combination of comfort and convenience is hard to top in a five-passenger luxury crossover. It also commands lofty resale values due to that sterling Lexus reputation.

Offering either front- or all-wheel drive, the RX 350 dates back to 2007, when it was introduced as a continuation of the RX 330. It has received significant upgrades in cabin technology over the years, but a generous standard features list and excellent build quality are a given with any Lexus RX 350. Unless you need the versatility of a third-row seat, this Lexus is likely to be a compelling proposition.

This vehicle is designed for politically correct soccer moms. They have eliminated the ash-tray, lighter and change holder. For just the front seat (1 driver, 1 passenger), they now have 3 cup holders and spaces for an almost infinite number of water bottles. There is no outlet for a cellphone charger or radar-detector. The center armrest is way too far back to rest anything but your right elbow on. Whoever designed this clunker must be related to the guy who changed the formula in coca-cola.

  • 2006 to a 2010 - 2010 Lexus RX 350

The 2006 RX was perfect in quality, reliability and performance, 60,000 miles with not one problem, so we traded for a 2010RX. A mistake, why? more wind noise, more road/tire noise, more motor noise, poorer ride quality,l poorer leather quality, gas mileage not as good, no side door strip protection, chrome roof stripe instead of black, poor interior AC outlets positions, no lighting on overhead buttons, over all quality not as good as a Lexus should be. Lexus needs to re-think their future RXs.

  • Much Better - 2010 Lexus RX 350

I owned the 2007 RX 350. In this new one there is less wood but more tech. The remote mouse is great, navigation much improved, sound system improved. The bluetooth is improved. People can now actually hear me when driving on the highway. Actually all the tech is fun to use. I drive a lot of miles so I find the ride more smooth slightly and so I am less tired. The cool seats work better if you change the A/C mode to up and down instead of auto and reduce lumbar support. I just wish they had the luxury package available that includes thigh extenders. They should have also included door sensor in back door like the other Lexus cars. But the new button to lock the doors is cool.

Moved up from an 04 RX. After only a few days driving (170 on the ODO) pleased w/ improved suspension, lower road noise and more positive - less slushy feeling in transmission. There is a slight rattle coming from under the dash. I hope it can be silenced in the 1k inspection. Typical Japanese overkill in the electronics - many features Ill never use and can be confusing. The NAV manual is 5/8" thick. Gadgeteers will love it - umpteen variations on the same function. Mouse concept for NAV, climate, audio etc.is great but can distract from driving. Quality of materials, fit and finish up to high Lexus standards. So far getting 17.4 mpg avg in city driving on first tank of gas.

  • Enjoying my new Lexus RX 350 - 2010 Lexus RX 350

This is my 1st Lexus. I had been an Acura driver for 15 years & still love the brand. However, I craved something different & the RX 350 caught my attention. I love the cabin space, the power tail gate & the overall feel. Comparing this to my previous Acura RDX, the RX350 doesnt have as much power as I expected. I dont like the quality of the material on the console & near the radio. I definitely expected higher quality from Lexus. The power & usb plugs inside the console are HORRIBLE! Who ever designed this should be fired -- really, it is that bad! I have run the cables through, but occasionally the phone charger falls in & I have to take out all the items in the console. Gas is ok.

If youre looking for a quiet crossover then get the Lexus RX 350. I test drove the Acura, Infiniti, Mercedes, Audi and BMW. When it was time for me to make a decision and lease a vehicle I decided on the Lexus for the innovations and the quiet ride. I liked the way the doors wrapped beneath the sides which allows me get out without getting my pants dirty. The RX 350 has plenty of power when passing cars on the freeway and handles really well with the 19 inch tires. Get the folding outside mirrors.

  • Follow Up Of November Purchase of RX350 - 2011 Lexus RX 350

Since my initial review, the following has happened to my RX350. Passenger side window did not work and had to have the entire motor and electrical replaced. My bumper has popped off the body of the car not once, but twice. I have to have a new bumper ordered, painted and installed on a car with less than 10,000 miles. The caps on the windshield wipers have had to be replaced. I cant believe Lexus put its badge on this dog. Unfortunately I own this vehicle.

  • FANTASTIC - 2010 Lexus RX 350

I have owned several different new auto- mobiles and this is definitely the finest of them all. I have 10000 miles on it and havent had to do anything but regular service. It is a combination of quality and pride of ownership. The satisfaction of owning a car that you can get in and go without worrying what needs to be fixed is wonderful. I feel that it is the finest car on the road for me. I love my RX 350. I would recommend it to anyone! The quality is worth the extra money!
