Model Overview:

The Lexus RX 350 is a vehicle that's comfortable in its own metal. And why wouldn't it be? This midsize luxury crossover SUV has long been a consumer favorite thanks to its plush ride, spacious interior, strong reliability record and appealing high-tech features. While the RX 350 doesn't promise much in the way of driving passion, its combination of comfort and convenience is hard to top in a five-passenger luxury crossover. It also commands lofty resale values due to that sterling Lexus reputation.

Offering either front- or all-wheel drive, the RX 350 dates back to 2007, when it was introduced as a continuation of the RX 330. It has received significant upgrades in cabin technology over the years, but a generous standard features list and excellent build quality are a given with any Lexus RX 350. Unless you need the versatility of a third-row seat, this Lexus is likely to be a compelling proposition.

  • Liked my old RX 350 Better - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

I agree with people here who say to stick with prior model of RX. We miss our comfortable seat - this one has much harder seat. My back hurts after sitting in this seat - in my previous RX I was fine. We miss arm rests, the sun glass holder, the lights by home link and the entire car to be frank. The auto lights include the brights and for us the brights go off when we need them on and the solution is to turn off auto lights totally. If you have the older RX and are considering this as an upgrade keep the old one! Lexus needs to rethink this RX and add back in what they removed. Leather quality and wood in older models was much better than the 2010.

  • One of the Best Overall SUVs - 2007 Lexus RX 350
    By -

I have owned 3 different SUVs: 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee LE / 2005 Mercedes M-Class / 2007 Lexus RX 350 (AWD). I must say that by far, I have enjoyed the Lexus the most. Like all SUV owners you are looking for a particular kind of car... one that is spacious, versatile, and luxurious. This vehicle (Lexus RX 350) has definitely been my top choice for all of these. Although this vehicle was for my wife, I will often sneak off with it instead of my M-Class. For those of you who can spend a little more for the "extras" (Mark Levinson SS, Rear DVD , Nav. System), I would definitely suggest getting them. You will never regret purchasing this vehicle! I know I dont and my wife LOVES IT!!!

  • Seats made of Stone - 2016 Lexus RX 350
    By -

Ok this is my 3rd RX350 and the seats in this car feel hard as rock while riding more than 45 minutes. What is this a Jeep Wrangler?! I feel every friggin bump in the road. Had I know this ride was going to be this bumping and loud I would have bought the darn small Ranger Rover instead. The design is not the my favorite either. Now some will say why did you buy it? Loyalty. Well now I know that should not be the reason if the brand is not going to be loyal to me. The cost is higher and I cant seem to figure out why. Overall I am just not as happy with this model thus far. Keep in mind I have only had the car for 5 days as of May 17th 2016. I purchased mines from Park Place Lexus in Plano, TX.

  • Nice Car to Drive - poor rating because of droning - 2017 Lexus RX 350
    By -

Do not buy or lease an RX350 unless you like consistent droning from the drivetrain. Mine was super quite until around 1800 miles and then something changed. There’s a low pitch droning sound with a vibration all the time - especially at about 1400 rpm. The nice ride and comfy cabin does not make up for this serious flaw. Search “RX350 droning sound” before making the investment. Look elsewhere for a midsize SUV.

  • ARCHAIC NAV SYSTEM - 2011 Lexus RX 350
    By -

First of all, why hasnt Edmunds talked about the archaic nav/radio system in any of their reviews???? I come from the world of Ford/Sirius/SYNC and I was shocked when I realized how old-fashioned the Lexus system is. Yes, I know, I should have kept it for a weekend to discover what a terrible system it is - but I listened to friends who were already Lexus owners, and I read Edmunds reviews and NO ONE told me!!! Have these people never driver another brand of car? You have to jump to two screens to see the title of a song, and then jump BACK to get to the next channel. No color, no logos, just plain old letters that are truncated - you dont even see the whole song title.

  • Near Perfect! - 2016 Lexus RX 350
    By -

We cant say enough about this vehicle! The looks and styling are awesome (in our opinions). The technology is so extensive the dealer offers a class to get the most out of it! Everything about this SUV is great but for one draw back. Even with the stronger engine and an 8 speed transmission, we are used to a bit better acceleration from zero. Now note that it isnt terrible but we would have liked a little more in the "get up and go" category. After less than 1 month . . . thats about the only drawback we have encountered. And it isnt major nor would it deter us from buying this SUV again.

  • 2010 Lexus RX350 - AWD - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

This is my first Lexus and I love it. I test drove several cars before choosing this one. The quietness, smoothness and overall quality is great. I love the dash which is neatly arranged and gives a rich appearance. Price is a little steep for what you get.

  • Lexus or a compact car? - 2016 Lexus RX 350
    By -

This is the third RX I have owned. My first 2004 then a 2010. Love the new exterior of the 2016. That being said there are a few things I do not like. I chose the F-Sport because of the grill and over-all sporty look. When you accelerate the noise of the transmission is not smooth, but very loud. It is a noise as if you are in a compact car, not a Lexus. Another feature I miss may not be of much importance to most, but is one have become accustomed to. The driver side cup-holder in the dash is gone. I am averaging 17mpg but I have been using the s sport mode so I expect it to not be as good.

  • Smooth ride, But.... - 2015 Lexus RX 350
    By -

This is my first luxury car. Its fun to drive & handles well. There are however a few disappointments... 1. Remote start turns engine off upon entering the car, even if you have the key with you. This seems like a time & fuel waste. 2. You can start the car, leave the key at home and drive as much and as far as you want to. While doing so, you will see the warning message "No key detected" on the instrument panel. I would prefer the car keep running with remote start as long as I have the key with me than having the ability to drive an already running car without a key. Very counterintuitive.... 3. No backup camera gridlines. I envy my friends who paid much less for cars that have the camera grid. 4. Radio operations and presets. Its not easy to operate.

  • Another Class Act! - 2013 Lexus RX 350
    By -

After turning in our 2010 lease a bit early, I bought a new 2013 RX 350. What a difference. The auto rides like on a cloud yet handles impeccably. There have been a number of refinements in the user interface which were all welcomed. Now there a buttons for everything as well as control from the redisigned and easier to use mouse. I like the apps which are useful especially Pandora. The mileage has been good as I am getting up to 24 mpg on the highway. Averaging about 21 mpg so far. All in all a great car and happy we bought another Lexus.
