Overview & Reviews
The Lexus RX 350 is a vehicle that's comfortable in its own metal. And why wouldn't it be? This midsize luxury crossover SUV has long been a consumer favorite thanks to its plush ride, spacious interior, strong reliability record and appealing high-tech features. While the RX 350 doesn't promise much in the way of driving passion, its combination of comfort and convenience is hard to top in a five-passenger luxury crossover. It also commands lofty resale values due to that sterling Lexus reputation.
Offering either front- or all-wheel drive, the RX 350 dates back to 2007, when it was introduced as a continuation of the RX 330. It has received significant upgrades in cabin technology over the years, but a generous standard features list and excellent build quality are a given with any Lexus RX 350. Unless you need the versatility of a third-row seat, this Lexus is likely to be a compelling proposition.

Love this vehicle - 2007 Lexus RX 350
By Kathy - July 30 - 4:40 pmI wanted to buy a Lexus SUV for 3 years. I loved the look and had never heard anything negative about them. Finally I was able to purchase one and it has not been a disappointment I recently drove mine on a 1000 mile vacation and loved every minute I drove it. It was quiet, responsive, and fuel efficient. Besides all of that it is beautiful to look at.

Transmission Shifting - 2007 Lexus RX 350
By Herb - July 24 - 3:20 amWhen youre going around the corner or taking off from a slow speed the car jerks into a lower gear and roars away. It doesnt shift smoothly into the next lower gear and smoothly drive away. It drives me crazy. The dealer "re-flashed" the computer and it didnt help much at all. If its a problem then Lexus better fix it soon. Ive already decided not to buy another even though I love the car otherwise. I may take a very much closer look at the new Toyota Tundra Im about to buy also.

A third Lexus for me - 2016 Lexus RX 350
By Salim - July 16 - 8:10 amThis is the third Lexus I owned. I bought my first in 2000 and traded in on a 2006 RX 400H. I have very happy with the vehicle for 10 years but finally I stepped into the 2016 RX and bought on the spot. The technology is amazing, the comfort is outstanding. I expect the reliability to be great too having had the experience of owning two other Lexus vehicles. Even my wife loves the car and says a lot to me. I have owned the vehicle for almost one month and I have zero complaints.

Smooth ride? - 2013 Lexus RX 350
By larouse - July 12 - 12:01 amHave our 2013 Lexus RX 350 for about a month. It has all the bells and whistles. Over all, I am happy with the car so far. However, I do not agree with those who say it has a smooth ride. This car has a very stiff ride, and I can feel every bump on the road. Unless I am driving on a very smooth surface, the ride is bumpy. Also, I find the seats rather tough. We have a 2011 Honda Accord which is smoother than this car! Maybe, it has something to do with the bloody Dunlop tires. Can not tell about reliability yet.

A Day with a Matador - 2009 Lexus RX 350
By Rene Clarence Caynan - July 9 - 12:10 amI have purchased several Lexus vehicles from IS350 to LS430. I was reluctant to drive/purchase an RX 350 because I considered it to be a "ladies" SUV. But everyday I noticed a lot of men have been driving an RX 350. So then I realized that it is no longer a ladies SUV. About two months ago, I decided to purchase the RX 350 (Matador Red). I couldnt be more happy with my new RX 350. It is fun to drive as it drives like a car and yet my gas mileage is over than 23 MPG.

Luxury Yes - SUV Yes - 2017 Lexus RX 350
By Paul J. - July 8 - 10:38 pmI’m a Lexus fan and this is my 3rd. First SUV. Getting into the SUV market wasn’t easy for me. I loved my GS 350 and it had low mileage. The one and only reason to go to a SUV was so I could see around the one in front of me. Congested freeways in Southern California requires one to see brake lights several cars ahead in traffic. Ever been in a freeway which turns into a parking lot? It happens here. Anyway the majority of vehicles on the road are SUV’s it seams. So I got one simply to have a better view of the road ahead. Here is the review. 1) this is a luxury vehicle with a soft, quiet comfortable ride. If you live on or frequently windy roads, do you want a soft ride? For my tast it is too soft. 2) acceleration is OK but nothing like my GS 350. Since both the GS and RX have 3.5 liter engines I expected similar acceleration. Disappointing that isn’t the case. On the other hand driving slower and being more patient isn’t a bad thing but I miss the fun factor. 3) braking? No problems but I do believe my sedan was more responsive and would stop in a shorter distance. That is a feeling since no actual comparison was made. I may have been happier with the Lexus RX 350 Sport model as I was accustomed to a sportier vehicle.

Lexus lacking! - 2015 Lexus RX 350
By Ed Brown - June 23 - 4:20 pmGreat vehicle overall, but found some things annoying for this kind of price! Tire pressure monitor only shows that "a" tire is low, but no hints as to which! My 2005 Suburban showed me a reading for each tire, Lexus says maybe next model year! Navigation is quirky, put me out in the middle of nowhere on several occasions while saying "You have reached your destination, the route guidance is now finished!" Fortunately I could backtrack. Overall I like the SUV, but you would think that for over $50,000.00, you would get more refinement than it provides. Lexus is very proud of their vehicles, $80.00 for a synthetic oil change!
