Model Overview:

The Lexus RX 350 is a vehicle that's comfortable in its own metal. And why wouldn't it be? This midsize luxury crossover SUV has long been a consumer favorite thanks to its plush ride, spacious interior, strong reliability record and appealing high-tech features. While the RX 350 doesn't promise much in the way of driving passion, its combination of comfort and convenience is hard to top in a five-passenger luxury crossover. It also commands lofty resale values due to that sterling Lexus reputation.

Offering either front- or all-wheel drive, the RX 350 dates back to 2007, when it was introduced as a continuation of the RX 330. It has received significant upgrades in cabin technology over the years, but a generous standard features list and excellent build quality are a given with any Lexus RX 350. Unless you need the versatility of a third-row seat, this Lexus is likely to be a compelling proposition.

Just purchased my new Rx350 and Im glad i did! Its smooth and quiet goes over bumps like butter. I considered other Lux brands Like BMW and Cadillac, no comparison between them. Not that the other ones were "Bad" I just prefer the ride and the quiet of the Lexus. Its like being at 40,000 feet in a jet, smooth!

This is my second RX. I liked my first one so much that I always knew I would get another one when the time came. The best car I have ever owned. I have only had the new one a month but Im am very pleased with everything about it. I honestly cant think of one negative thing to say. It is way more car than I expected for the price.

Its a great upgrade from the previous version. The whole family loves it.

  • Not bad - 2013 Lexus RX 350

This car is not bad even I preffered to lease a BMW X5 35d, X5 is bigger with more technologies and brand name, but I decided to lease the Lexus for my wife as well as a good deal. After couple weeks drive, it is not so disappointed, everthing works fine and obviously much better than the RX300 I leased on 2000. If you dont care the brand name and some strange designs, even F Sport comes with better appearances, it is an option for luxury SUVs at this class.

We purchased a brand new 2010 RX 350. After a week or so we noticed the front bumper was coming off. After 3 months, the whole transmission blew on the car and had to be replaced. While replacing it, the dealer scratched up the rear bumper so badly it had to be repainted. The car is a piece of junk. After four Lexus in our family, I will NEVER touch that brand ever again!!!

Bought a brand new RX 350 fully loaded on October 14, 2013. This is my first Lexus and have been a previous owner of several Toyotas like Camry, Venza and Yaris. While I like the vehicle in general I posted some of the improvements so that prospective buyers can be aware of some of the shortcomings and may want to wait for the completely redesigned 2015 model which should be out some time late in Fall 14.

  • Disappointed - 2008 Lexus RX 350

I had a 740il for 8 years and should have know it would be a hard act to follow. I didnt expect it to be anything like that but am surprised at the lack of quality Ive experienced. Ive had two new batteries the first month, not sure why. The driver seat is already showing wear and darkening after a short 6 months. At 10,000 miles the interior rattles began. First the dash and then the windows. Ive not been able to get these corrected after 3 attempts. The motor started making a rattling noise in the mornings. Only during the first 5 minutes then its fine. Im afraid to see what will follow as time goes on with this car so Im selling it. Perhaps good for the price but no quality here.

Controls difficult to see and use because theyre behind the gear shift. Nav screen is gaudy compared to prior year models.

  • Lexus problems - 2010 Lexus RX 350

After driving two Lexus RX models and after walking away from two major accidents we purchased a 2010 Rx 350. We have the same problem with the bumper pulling loose. We had the same problem with a 2010 hs250h that we found had double back tape applied to hold it in place. All I can say is whats up Lexus ? If I want a car that is taped together . I think I can find one at a dump. I expect better than this from a company that says it takes pride in its quality.

  • New 2010 RX 350 - Lots of Initial defect - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

I have had my 2010 RX 350 for about 4 months now. In total, I have gone back 5 times for 3 different defects on the new model. I have had Navigation, A/C Radio problems (which all have TSBs issued by Lexus now). Not to mention the exterior defect of the driver side bumper I now have, due to wind damage from long distance driving. The front corner bumper is "popping" out of place every time I go on long drives. Im going to have to wait until the next time I go in for service to have it checked out, Im tired of driving loaners and paying for a new car. Overall, I am very disappointed that Lexus would send a car out on the road with so many problems.
