Model Overview:

The Lexus RX 350 is a vehicle that's comfortable in its own metal. And why wouldn't it be? This midsize luxury crossover SUV has long been a consumer favorite thanks to its plush ride, spacious interior, strong reliability record and appealing high-tech features. While the RX 350 doesn't promise much in the way of driving passion, its combination of comfort and convenience is hard to top in a five-passenger luxury crossover. It also commands lofty resale values due to that sterling Lexus reputation.

Offering either front- or all-wheel drive, the RX 350 dates back to 2007, when it was introduced as a continuation of the RX 330. It has received significant upgrades in cabin technology over the years, but a generous standard features list and excellent build quality are a given with any Lexus RX 350. Unless you need the versatility of a third-row seat, this Lexus is likely to be a compelling proposition.

  • New owner love the car but tech weak - 2016 Lexus RX 350

We had to drive300 miles to get this car as local dealer failed us miserably. I love the car I dont love the nav system. It simply doesnt work and is off by about 100ft. It cant even find " home" shuts down about 20 homes from ours.i have to rely on my iPad. Which is more accurate. The weather map doesnt work when its cloudy when you really could use it . It quits at" downloading data" back to the iPad.for real time radar. Since we live on an island where the streets flood this feature is kinda important. Too bad it doesnt work.

  • Fantastic SUV - 2008 Lexus RX 350

I just bought the RX 350 three weeks ago and I absolutely love it. I live in Pittsburgh and was able to test it out in the last snow/ice storm we had, and the car performed admirably. I couldnt be happier with it. Lots of cabin room, seating 4 or 5 is comfortable. Very good with pick-up, given that the V6 puts out 270 hp, and the RXs competitors are all V8s (easier on the wallet with gas too).

  • Everything I hoped it would be - 2016 Lexus RX 350

We waited for this car for over a year when we needed to get an SUV. It is hands down much better than the 2015 model with its looks, ride, and interior quality. I was coming from a 2003 BMW 325i with the sports package so I wanted to get something that wasnt pillowy and had composure when making quick turns. The RX is very nimble and is particularly responsive with the Sports+ mode, as many have alluded to in reviews that the F-sport trim provides the taught steering and suspension that gives it more of a car-like feel. Gas mileage would have been better with the 450h but once you get up to cruising speed on the freeway you can lift and coast somewhat to achieve some pretty decent mpgs. We are still pretty ginger on the accelerator so I cant say how much power it has, but it is definitely there if I need it. That being said, the eco-mode definitely has a conservative tune and if you want to punch it to beat cars when coming on from an onramp, the Sports/Sports+ mode will get it done. The f-sport seat bolsters are kind of raised too much to my liking and I worry that the leather will get worn out from excessively getting in and out, but once in the seat, I fit perfectly and it is very comfortable.

  • Solid B+ Performer - 2010 Lexus RX 350

Owners for over a year now. Great highway cruiser (frequent 2-5 hr trips); very quiet and comfortable. Front seats are superb! Very nice instrument display, especially when driving at night. Storage b/t seats is very nice idea and quite convenient. Very nice balance b/t handling and ride - I laugh every time I see discussion about "handling" and SUVs - if you want sports car handling - buy a sports car! The RX is a very good choice for those wanting comfort with a healthy dose of versatility.

  • Disappointed in Louisiana - 2008 Lexus RX 350

I traded in my 2005 4Runner for this car two weeks ago and I am so disappointed. I thought I was buying a luxury SUV, but that was not the case. There is way more road noise than I expected. I dont know if this is due to the tires or a lack of cabin insulation. The ride is average, definitely not luxurious, and do not plan on seating more than four adults comfortably. Also, the radio is terrible for a car in this price range. It crackles already at medium volume. I miss my 4Runner!

  • Great - 2007 Lexus RX 350

We just purchased the RX 350 as a family SUV now that we have a baby. Even though the car is still very new we are so happy with our decision. The 07s have huge discounts now and are much more affordable than the list price. Drives great, very quiet, amazing NAV system and bluetooth. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great family car.

  • My sexy rxy! - 2007 Lexus RX 350

I bought the RX after an extensive search and over three dozen test drives. The RX is best overall in reliability, safety (backup camera has already saved me a couple of minor bumps) and comfort for any family vehicle that I looked at. Any other car and Id be giving up on one of the three. I got the Mark Levinson (as a result, the DVD as well, cmon Lexus!) and it is awesome. The leather is very, very nice. Back seats are comfortable and recline. Rear gate can be opened and shut by remote, which is great during the school drop-off. Mileage has been around 16 around town which is not the best, but on our last 100 mile road trip, we got 28 mpg average on the highway. Thats awesome! Congrats to Lexus.

  • Worth the upgrade - 2010 Lexus RX 350
    By -

Upgraded from an 05 RX. The power, performance, suspension and roominess are all upgrades. The 2010 is also quieter. All electronics are significant upgrades--particularly Nav and Voice. Other notable improvements are the center console, larger interior and lack of wheel wells intruding into the cargo area. The suspension is much improved. Overall, very happy with the new Lexus. I compared against MDX, SRX, Q5 and MB. In the end, quality, reliability and Lexus service made this car the clear winner for me.

  • A tad disappointed - 2008 Lexus RX 350

I leased a new RX 350 a month ago as my ES 330 lease expired. I needed more room and at a minimum fold down seats. The IS was the only model with fold downs and that was too small. Room is great - feels spacious inside- kids have a lot of room in the back. Got an annoying dash vibration noise in a week and I do hope that can be fixed - very annoying. Feel that the road noise is quite high. Handling is excellent - very good acceleration and fit is finish is superb.

  • Great Second RX - 2017 Lexus RX 350
    By -

This is my second RX, and my third Lexus. My first was the 2005 RX 330. I traded it in for this one with over 300K on it. The reason for the trade, repairs became more expensive and it was just pain time. I really miss the old RX 330, but I cant complain about this one. First and foremost, service at Lexus is exceptional. The service representative make you feel so comfortable, you almost want to hug her. Second and most of all, The car gains respect when riding down the road. I got the autumn shimmer, with the sunroof, heated and cooled front seats, and tow enabled package. Not sure what the package is called, but it was good enough for me. I tried the Mercedes GLE, Audi Q7, and Jaguar F Pace, but none came close to the price to value point that the RX 350 did. All I can say about that is go find out for yourself. The Q7 is a great car, but the price point could put you close to 70K. The final point I want to make is, my wife took the new RX 350 and I only get to ride it on the weekend. :)
