  • Great Car - 2005 Kia Sportage

Traded in my Chrysler 300C for this SUV because I bought a house and wanted cheaper payments. This car is outstanding. Rides like a car (smooth), decent power and looks great. The fit & finish is excellent, AC is powerful and the radio rocks! I think it looks better than its sister...the Hyundai Tuscon. The only negative is its name...Kia. I really like this car and the pro reviews have been positive. Only time will tell if the reliabilty is there...the warranty is great and I purchased an extended warranty as well. The car has a fair amount of understeer so zipping in and out of traffic at 80 mph when Im late for work is a little nerve wracking. I cant wait for snow.

  • Much improvement over my 2002 - 2005 Kia Sportage

I was not as happy with my 2002 Kia sportage Ex 4x4. I was looking at honda crvs when I heard of the new 2005 Sportage. Almost certain I wouldnt buy another one I went and test drove one. First of all it looks more expensive than my 2002. It is built much better and more expensive interior parts are used. I am amazed at what I got for $21,000. (and yes this is the top of the line model!) Lets just hope its better mechanically than my old one. Only time will tell.

The new Kia Sportage is very roomy on the inside, and there is lots of room for backseat passengers. When I first saw the Sportage, I couldnt believe it! The size of this new compact suv, it sure has nothing in common with previous models. The ride is carlike and smooth, quiet, and comfortable. The stereo and ac controls are easily in reach. The steering wheel tilts to adjust to the driver, and the seats have lumbar adjustments. When comparing the Sportage to other suvs, the standard safety equipment which includes 6 airbags, ABS, traction control and the awesome 100,000 miles warranty made the choice an easy one. I highly suggest you test drive this vehicle, youll be happy you did!!

  • better than my old rav4 - 2005 Kia Sportage

I have always been impressed with my Toyota. After having the Sportage for only five weeks, it has really impressed me. I went with the Kia because it was less money, and I got the leather and all the other bells for a great budget!! The drive is extremelly comfortable, with a great ride, and even with the compact size its very roomy. The v6 is peppy and still gets great gas milage! This is a SUV that is great for commuting and for long trips. Over all the Sportage is one you have got to take a look at.

  • First SUV - 2005 Kia Sportage

I always considered myself a sedan girl and the first time I test drove the new Sportage I was in love. It actually handles better than my car which was a 2002 Saturn L200. The gas mileage could be a little better.

  • I dont care about the name "I LOVE IT" - 2005 Kia Sportage

I didnt realize untill i did my shopping that this comes with ESP, Traction control, and Anti-lock brakes all standard! And with the 10 year warranty, theres no other small SUV at that price that can compete.

This vehicle has blown my mind as far as performance, gas mileage, style; basically, everything about the Sportage has been beyond my expectations, let alone the excellent warranty it carries.

  • best car I have ever owned - 2005 Kia Sportage

I was skeptical when purchasing my Kia Sportage. But it did not take long for me to realize that this truely is the best of both worlds. Not only did I save thousands of dollars compared to Honda and Toyota, I have alot more features. The electronic stability control is magic, the car takes over in emergency manuves, to maintain control, the ride is outstanding, and the V6 engine is smooth and efficient. I was worried what people would think if I bought one, and know I realize that Kia is a true contender in the market, and I will enjoy this for years to come.

  • Fun to drive - 2005 Kia Sportage

I love my new Kia Sportage. I have been driving Volvo-cars for the last 30 years, and now I have bought a new Kia Sportage V6. I liked the car from the very beginning. The 2,7 l V6 engine is very smooth and powerful and the automatic shift very smoothly. The car is so new and fresh here in Sweden. If I park in a parking place, people talk to me about my new Kia.
