The LX model is now available with a sport package that includes a new five-speed manual transmission, side step bars, Michelin tires, alloy wheels, roof rack, leather-wrapped steering wheel and keyless entry. A two-tone gray interior color scheme is also new, and metallic interior accents replace last year's wood grain accents.

  We have had this car for 8 months now and it is wonderful. My wife and I got it when shee was 8 months pregnat and we puchaced it for the two kids and the interior layout. It has plenty of power and is built stout. It is very comfortable but does ride like a truck. I like it that way. My 3 year old can get in and out with the running boards. If I had to do it all over again I would definitly get this veichal again

  Totally enjoy driving this vehicle. Very comfortable. Smooth ride...roomy backseat. Love the storage compartments that are located everywhere. Nice exterior style. I have the indigo blue with pewter for a color and have received many compliments on its look.

  This is my first purchase of an SUV and my first purchase of a South Korean product and lets just say Im very impress with the product so far.I look at products from Ford,Nissan and Honda and when I look at Kia, I was very suprise how well the product was put together.

  I read many reviews about the Sorento before purchasing. All were good, but all had the same complaints, mediocre gas mileage and somewhat rough ride. I found this to be true also, but the ride is not really that rough, actually smoother an our PT Cruiser. I am thoroughly impressed with the overall design and performance of my Sorento. I think Kia hit a home run when they hired Toyotas head engineer to design it (he designed the Lexus SUV). I would buy one again in a heartbeat. Keep in mind that this is the only SUV in its class with a FULL FRAME and rear wheel drive. It is a quiet ride, good acceleration, extremely nice highway ride.

  I have had my Kia for almost 5 years now. I really loved my Kia, it was a lot of car for such a reasonable price. I replaced my headlights and tail lights twice a year. A/C has never worked right (which can isnt good when you live in AZ). Dealership always tells me that its running fine, so I have given up. The last two years I have put in a lot of money into the vehicle (I cant even remember all the things I have had done and of course not covered by warranty any longer).I am afraid that I will only be putting more into it the near future, so it is time to say goodbye. Dealing with the dealership was a joke and the overall cost to own this vehicle was much more than I had expected.

  This is the most comfortable vehicle i have ever owned. I switched from being a long time Chrysler owner and I believe the Kia Sorento to be far superior in quality. The interior is well thought out (everything is easy to get to for the driver) It is solidly built. I love the sound system and cruise control in the steering wheel. Myonly complaint is the mediocre fuel economy. I get around 16 mpg. I understand the weight is a factor.

  If you are interested in a true SUV look at the Kia Sorento. This is not a "crossover" but a vehicle capable of real off-road fun. I have had mine for a year now and have never had a problem with it. It is a good looking SUV and often mistaken for one that costs much more.

  I recently flipped my sorento 3 times and landed on the roof. There was so much reinforcemnt in the doors and roof that when the wrecker flipped it over to haul it off we were able to open all 5 doors and the roof had hardly caved in at all. HIGHLY recommended I will be buying another. The three kids and my self were unhurt except for some sore muscles. Id like to see a honda or mazda say that about one of their SUVs
