The LX model is now available with a sport package that includes a new five-speed manual transmission, side step bars, Michelin tires, alloy wheels, roof rack, leather-wrapped steering wheel and keyless entry. A two-tone gray interior color scheme is also new, and metallic interior accents replace last year's wood grain accents.

By Packer - June 29 - 2:00 amTransmission: Nissan, Brakes: Bosch, Liomited slip Diffrential; Eaton/Carbon..etc..etc They put together a really nice package..dosent compare to Mazda Tribute..closer to Honda Pilot for a whole lot less. Dont be concerned about the gas mileage..if you do the math you will NEVER eat up the 8 grand you saved plus add the warranty and you cant go wrong.

Never Thought Id Own a Kia - 2004 Kia Sorento
By ADB - June 18 - 10:00 amThe Kia caught my eye while driving on the highway so I decided to give it a try. I did a ton of research & read all of the Edmunds reviews (Thanks Fellow Sorento Owners!), among others. I test drove the 4-Runner, Pathfinder, Pilot, & Tribute (didnt drive any "American" SUVs) and the Kia won! I got the fully loaded EX w/ tow & self leveling. To get comparable features on the other SUVs I would have paid $8000 - $13000 more! I had to have the Amp and odometer replaced but everything else is problem free. The SUV is GREAT, the Dealer experience, not so great. I truly love my Kia Sorento! Without-a-doubt the best "Bang-For-Your-Buck."

Sorento is "just right" - 2004 Kia Sorento
By socalmom - June 7 - 10:00 amI fell in love with the Kia Sorento the first time I laid eyes on one in a mall parking lot. I have owned two other SUVs and find the Sorento to be "just right". My complaints are for very poor gas mileage (city 12-13 mpg, highway 18 mpg during a Vegas trip) and excessive wind noise at the sunroof. I LOVE the interior/exterior styling, interior comfort and height, and the solid road handling, especially around turns.
