The LX model is now available with a sport package that includes a new five-speed manual transmission, side step bars, Michelin tires, alloy wheels, roof rack, leather-wrapped steering wheel and keyless entry. A two-tone gray interior color scheme is also new, and metallic interior accents replace last year's wood grain accents.

  Although Ive only had my Sorento for a short time Im 100% positive I made the right decision when I bought it. I love the way it handles and it has ALOT of extra storage space. The 3.5 liter engine has plenty of power. This vehicle is well worth the money I paid for it.

  I have owned just about every full size SUV on the market. I saw it on the lot, like its looks, took it for a 10 minute test drive and was sold that day. Its without a doubt, the nicest SUV Ive ever owned.

  Im a car salesman @ a dealer that has 16 diff. franchises to choose from. I get my emplyee price on any car here. Ive sold everything from the Sorento to the VUE to the Trailblazer to the Pilot and many more... I bought a Sorento. Ive had fewer customer problems with the Kias than almost any other franchise that I sell. I got the loaded Lux. Pkg. for the same price as a base Trailblazer and have a warr. for 100k miles! PLUS, the Sorento has the safest ratings out of them all and the lowest insurance ratings as well! You really cant beat the Sorento when it comes to a midsize suv. Take it from someone who could have taken a honda but didnt!

  At 80000 miles, the ICV valve broke and damaged the engine. After 2 months of warranty work, there is a persistent oil leak that the only dealership within 30 miles cannot fix. I spent $600 on auto rental during warranty repair. It just isnt worth owning. Run away from KIA!!

  We shopped for a small midsize suv for over 1 year. We first where turned on to the Kia Sorento at the los angeles auto show in 2003. We looked at all suvs in this class, after test driving several different suvs, we found ourselves comparing all others to the sorento. Kias 100,000 mile warranty and luxury options convinced us that the Sorento was the car for us.

  ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AFTER PURCHASING OUR KIA SORENTO WE WERE HIT WITH HEAVY SNOWS (11-13").THE FULL TIME 4WD ENABLED US TO TRAVEL EASILY ON UNPLOWED SIDE STREETS AND GET IN AND OUT OF PLOWED-IN DRIVEWAYS. ENJOYED DEEP SNOW FOR THE FIRST TIME IN YEARS. FROM THE DAY WE TOOK DELIVERY (O1-2003) EVERYTHING WORKED EXACTLY AS SUPPOSED TO.IN MY OPINION THE KIA IS ONE OF THE BEST KEPT SECRETS AROUND.

  Bought new in April 04, gas milage is better than what the window sticker says 21+mpg highway 18+mpg city! No problems at all! has about 5000 miles on it. Compare it to a Lexus, It looks the same, but its $20,000 LESS
