The LX model is now available with a sport package that includes a new five-speed manual transmission, side step bars, Michelin tires, alloy wheels, roof rack, leather-wrapped steering wheel and keyless entry. A two-tone gray interior color scheme is also new, and metallic interior accents replace last year's wood grain accents.

  I love this car. It has everything I need (side curtain airbags and excellent warranty were the clinchers in the purchase decision) in a mid- size SUV with the features I wanted - sunroof, good stereo system, lots of storage, plenty of room, very nice looking interior and exterior. One year later, I have had NO problems with the Sorento and it still looks like a brand new car. If you purchase one, be prepared for questions and comments - how do you like it? I will be shopping for a new car, would you recommend it? To anyone who asks, my answer is I love this car.

  A big fan of the 5 speed transmission and rear wheel drive. The Sorento handles well in all conditions - particularly off road in difficult situations. Have been able to get out of wet muddy conditions with ease. Hugs the ground well, even on steep incline. Had some electrical problems - cruise control was inoperable - new fuse required only. I am rough on vehicle with many kms but maintain it well. Find pick up off the mark slow at times. Have had the Sorento 2 years with 72,000 kms and just purchased my second with delivery later this week. New one has sideboards for easier child access.

  We couldnt be happier with this truck. It is beautiful inside and out. Yes Gas mileage is a little inefficient, but it is better than my Jeep Grnd Cher ltd. so we cant complain too much. We are constantly getting compliments on it. I would agree w/ another review that the Rear View Mirror is somewhat impeded. Test Drive this true truck. The others are just cars on big wheels.

  Generally a great SUV for the money. Sturdy, well behaved and easy on the eyes with lots of extras. Good built quality throughout. Good overall engine performance but a little thirsty.

  Researched and drove all SUVs $ 20 to $25K - new baby and all the stuff that goes along with one. Sorento by far impressed my wife and I. Safety features alone sold us. The styling, creature comforts and quiet interior was icing on the cake. We have base model LX and love it! Very impressed with power, smooth ride & reliability only service has been oil changes.

  I just bought the SUV in June and I LOVE it. The styling is great and the performance is awesome for a company that has a nam e that people fear. and now you can find so many items to hook up your sorentos like grills, emblems, body kits and a whole lot of cool gadgets. All I can say is that bad rep of theirs is in the past and Kia has out done themselves with the Sorento!!!!!

  Driving is great, purchased because of the factory warranty. When engine failed Kia failed to honor the warranty.
