The LX model is now available with a sport package that includes a new five-speed manual transmission, side step bars, Michelin tires, alloy wheels, roof rack, leather-wrapped steering wheel and keyless entry. A two-tone gray interior color scheme is also new, and metallic interior accents replace last year's wood grain accents.

  I just got my Sorento and I love it! It looks just like the Lexus, but it has a much nicer sticker price. I looked at a lot of SUVs, and there arent any out there that can compare to the features for the price. I would like better fuel mileage though.

  i love my Kia Sorrento!!! It is a great SUV--drives well and looks great!! It is a very comfortable car. It has a lot of power too. Good pick up on highways.

  This automobile has plenty of room for anything and everything that the family needs. The Sorento is reliable. Weve test driven the Ford Escape, the Chevy Trailblazer, the Dodge Durango, and the Saturn Vue, but the Kia Sorento topped them all with its comfort.

  I have had several vehicles and most of them are great in the beginning, but later the fun wears off and its just a ride. I love every minute in my Sorento. Everytime I drive it I feel great, I feel I look great, and my pocket book didnt have to pay tons to get it. Thats how I feel. Warranty is the best.

  Just completed a 3000 mi road trip & this vehicle exceeded our expectations. Good ride/handling & plenty of power. Add all the extras & the warranty,& KIA has a real winner here!Lots of "bang for the buck".

  PIECE OF JUNK KIA! - 2004 Kia Sorento

  Quality is NONEXISTANT!I am getting rid of this car Has been repaired countless times.Driver side door handle broke off.Pull down handle for trunk broke off. CD player is eatting my cds.Paint has chipped off of all buttons on radio and A/C controls. Paint has flaked off of the entire roof,tops of the mirrors & along wheel well trim. Shocks/arms that keep the trunk & the back window glass open have failed, so you have to hold them open manually. Car just had 3k worth of work done which included A/C compressor, leaking valves, coolant reservoir replaced.Coolant reservoir just cracked again yesterday.Head&Tail lights burn out every 6 mths.Sunroof leaks.Worst car Ive ever owned!

  Ive also owned expensive cars and was a little weary about buying a Kia. It turns out this Kia Sorento is awesome. I love the look of it inside and out and it drives like a dream. I have people stop me all the time in parking lots, complimenting me on the car and asking how I like it. I love it!!!!

  Did not know KIA brand, accidential stopped at the dealer, took the Sorentio of test drive, after comparing it to other SUV and doing a little research, could not find a better buy. Excellent value for the vehicle and features. It is a fun vehicle to drive. Excellent safety features, which resulted in a lower cost of insurance. Nice warrant, looked at several other vehicle, for the money could not find one that could compare.

  After doing a LOT of research, we decided to purchase an EX model. The dealer had one that we liked, but had 3 fairly expensive options that we did not really want (running boards, trailer package, load leveling). The dealer threw them in at the price we had negotiated for one without these features. I have been very happy with the quality and comfort of the vehicle - much better than the 2002 Ford Explorer XLT we traded in.

  I purchased this car new and all I can say is that only an idiot (and that includes me) would pay $28,000 for this Korean piece of crap. Problems are too numerous to list, however have been covered under warranty up to this point. Too bad I dont get reimbursed for all my time sitting in the service dept waiting area. The mileage issue has nothing to do with engine size. The transmission is not geared properly which is why at 70 mph you tach out at 2800 rpm. Car needs a 5th gear. The vehicle is also rusting on the inside of the doors (the car has been garaged every day since bringing it home). The car is now worth only 13k and has every option on it that KIA offers. Will never buy another KIA.
