A two-tone gray interior color scheme is also new, and metallic interior accents replace last year's wood grain accents.

  Plus - finish and fit, quality of materials used and engineering design elements (drain plugs in transmission pan and differential unlike american vehicles) Minus - unlit cruise controls, no radio volume on the steering wheel (whats up with that???) and last but not least abismal gas mileage!!!

  I loved this car until the windshield washer pump went out three times. I have a headlight go out about once a month. After changing the timing belt at 60,000 miles the engine locked up and the dealer told me it needed a whole new motor which would not be covered by warranty. I took it somewhere else and had it fixed for $600, no new motor needed after all! A CD is stuck in the CD player. The paint has chipped all over. The gas gauge is broken so I have to remember to reset the trip meter every time I fill up. The back passenger door latch keeps falling off. Poor MPG. Every time I have taken the car in, my complaints are not covered by the "bumper to bumper, 100,000 mile warranty."

  I was in the market for an SUV. After looking for a while at the more expensive brands with what I thought was a better name at the time I kept finding myself drawn back to the Kia Sorento and the Hundai Santa Fe. You can not beat the prices and the warranties that come with the vehicles. The finance manager at Atlantic Auto Mall almost cost himself a sale because he was completely nasty and arrogant when we said no to the extended waranty. Edmunds.com was a huge help in our purchase. I made four thousand more on my trade in after researching with edmunds after my first shopping trip for this vehicle at the same dealer.

  I bought my Sorento to replace my Kia Sportage because of the extra room and features. I wanted to sit up higher off the ground and wanted the added feature of a V6 engine. I also like the added storage space under the passenger seat and in the back just above the spare tire. I have found the ride comfortable and quiet and the Sorento handles very well around corners. Overall it is just plain fun to drive.

  I have been very happy with my Kia Sorento. Its really ALOT of car for the money! It drives very smoothly for a 4wd SUV... not like a truck.It has alot of zip and handles smoothly. Interior design is comfortable and controls are convenient. The stereo system is very good..I love the 6 cd in the dash feature. The only thing I would change is the gas mileage...not as high as I would like, but probably not too different from most cars of this type..

  i would definately recomend a sorento to anyone who is looking for a suv in that category. i am very happy with my desision,it looks and feels like it should cost much more than it did!

  Just a plain Jane in black that doesnt attract a lot of attention but can stay out of the way of oncoming traffic with power to spare. 5 Speed option is well spaced with plenty of 2nd gear torque for low end accelleration. Quality paint and trim make a Sunday wash a real treat since the effect is stellar. Easy to use power steering effort. Controls are well within reach and easy to use. Good visibility in all directions unobstructed by conservative head rests in the rear. Lots of dealer installed options. Consider the rubber cargo floor mat, it is a bargain. Superior door fit on all sides/rear.

  We just bought an 03 Kia Sorrento EX and so far so good. The car provides a very comfortable ride and my wife loves it. I wanted a Toyota 4Runner but she liked the smaller size of the Kia. The outside and inside finish on our car is excellent. We love the smooth ride and cant wait to take it up to Snowbird for a few powder runs.

  We bought our Sorento 2 years ago with 46,000 miles on it, since then we have had nothing but problems. The clock never worked, and the radio never worked. We have brought it in for recall repairs a number of times. Now at 63,000 miles the engine started rattling, the warning lights came on, and it wont steer. It is our family vehicle and we only average 11,000 miles per year.
