After going through a full redesign two years ago, the Jeep Grand Cherokee receives a few changes for 2007. Most notably, the Grand Cherokee is expanding its powertrain options and will now offer a diesel engine, as well as an all-new flex-fuel-capable V8 engine that can also run on E85. Additional safety features are now included as standard equipment across the lineup as well.

• Diesel and flex-fuel engine options available, high-performance SRT8 variant, stellar off-road ability, simple controls.

• Cramped backseat, subpar gas mileage with the V8 engine, ride can be bouncy over ruts.

  Impressed, so far - 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee

  I just bought this Hemi Limited a week ago and have put 1,700 miles on it so far. It is so much more comfortable than my 06 Tacoma Double Cab, I cant believe it. The interior is outstanding, with fit and finish very good, and very quiet. The power seats are extremely comfortable, and the Sirius radio with Boston Acoustics is great. I am taking it in to see if the dealership can take care of a rattle in the dash and wind noise around the drivers side back door. The hemi has unbeleivable response, gets reasonable mileage (17.5 mpg overall)and is a blast to drive. The quadra-trac II with limited slip front and rear is truly amazing. Im happy now, well see if I am a year from now.

  This is my first Jeep purchased, actually its even my first SUV. Ive always had 4 and 2 door cars. I brought the car because Ive always loved Jeeps styling and invoice minus $3,500 rebate helped me love it even more. Gas mileage is OK, I guess I didnt expect hybrid like mileage. Has the truck for about 2 weeks, loving it so far. Had the dealership reverse the tires so its completely blackwall, they forgot to put the stem caps on and now my TPSM is going nuts and the steering wheel shakes at above 50mph. Dont know if that is the cause or not but I scheduled a service appointment. If youre looking for a good SUV, that is comfortable, affordable, and fun to drive, definitely test drive this truck.

  Wanted the Hemi after having 2 other JGC (last was a 94). We drive 250 mi to WV from DC every month and my wife wont take her FX35 anymore because of the comfortable ride and Sat radio. Really like the accel on US81 and gas isnt too bad on cruise. Really like the remote start, Sirius, auto dim, blue tooth and pedal adjust. Hard to use the backup camera as it is offset to the left of center. FX has lines on- screen to guide into parking. Great interior improvement over previous JGC. Very little tire noise at speed.

  This is my 3rd jeep. 1992 Jeep Laredo, 1997 Jeep v-8, and 2007 jeep hemi. I loved them all and they all were great vehicles to drive. i love the 4 x 4 system. In Michigan we get big snow and thats when i have the most fun.

  I purchased a 2007 Grande Cherokee SRT- 8 two weeks ago and havent stopped grinning since. The engine note and power is incredible. The seats are really comfortable and really hold you in place. The exterior styling is just right. I also have a BMW X5 4.8is and havent started it since I bought my Jeep Grande Cherokee SRT-8. This vehicle is a screaming bargain.

  Im very pleased with this vehicle. Great power , comfort, all around driveability. 5500 miles so far. No problems. Pulls my 4500 lb boat effortlessly. Gas mileage is actually slightly better than claimed. I had a 2004 VW V8 Toureg. The Jeep is a much better SUV all the way around. The park assist has already saved me from a backing accident. The standard features are all that one could ask for. Id buy it again in a heartbeat.

  Owned 2001 sport Cherokee. Loved it!, I had 160k miles and never had any problems other then the air conditioner went out. Drove it for 7 years. I test drove many vehicles looking for fuel economy. Came down to it I was not giving up my Jeep! Until I found my 2007 Laredo with a sticker price as the same as my 2001 sport. I was willing to give my Jeep for a Jeep! Every Jeep owner will not give it up and if they did wish they had another! I love it, only 2k miles on it, but I have no worries. Bought the life time warranty and the rust proof coating! I I would not buy a Chrysler other then the Jeep. I just cant get over the k-car. I love my Jeep!

  Excelent ridability and features. Comfortable with a very nice interior. I like the new dash and placement of the controls. Very well though out vehicle. A bit too much plastic on the exterior, but I will address later.
