Overview & Reviews
For 2003, the Jeep Grand Cherokee has received refinements that improve its ride and handling. The suspension features reduced pressure shocks and the brake master cylinder output has been increased to improve brake pedal feel. There are also new brake calipers and a revised steering gear torsion bar. Available trims have been narrowed from five to three; the Sport and Special Edition trims have been discontinued. Standard on 2003 Laredo models is a new high-back cloth seat. Finally, in all Jeep Grand Cherokee interiors, a new cubby bin for holding sunglasses or cellular phones has been added to the instrument panel, replacing the ashtray.
- Powerful 4.7-liter V8, all-terrain capability, roomy comfort for four.
- Noisy and unrefined, questionable reliability.

WOW!!!! - 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By tts - August 30 - 10:00 amThis thing moves out- I came from a cadillac eldo with northstar engine and I thought that moved out..Muffler noise is excessive but handling is smooth and going over bumps is fantastic for an SUV. No rattling noises, no squeeks. I test drove the Envoy, Trailblazer, Explorer, Yukon, Sequoia, 4runner, and the Mercedes Benz 320 & 420. I liked the Mercedes the best but for the money You cant beat the jeep!!!

Love My Jeep - 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By C Sims - August 13 - 7:46 amI love everything about my Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. It has all the room we need and is very well designed. This Jeep has been my dream vehicle. I have 64K miles now and it is still going strong. I choose the 2 wheel drive, because we already have 2 other 4WDs in the family. I usually trade vehicles when I need tires, but never plan on trading my Jeep. You will not be sorry with this vehicle.

Superb Vehicle! - 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By JWR-11 - August 6 - 7:53 amPurchased 2003 Jeep Overland new in October 2002. Now have 90,000+ trouble free miles. Only recall by Chrysler was to repair the electric seat warmers. This Jeep still has its original Goodyear tires on it! Rotated all 5 wheels every 10,000 miles. Great power and comfort. Will tow anything I have put behind it. I would have purchased another vehicle by now it were not for the great performance and reliability of my Jeep.

My favorite car - 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By Teresa Payne - July 27 - 4:13 amMy Jeep has been a great blessing. I have enjoyed driving in the city, felt safe in the floods (did not go out when I did not have to) and have had a blast on the dirt. The V8 engine saved my life as I was able to get out of the way of an out of control car spinning toward me. The acceleration that is possible is something that you would expect from a sports car.

Replaced Toyota 4x4 - 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By Alton - May 25 - 2:00 amThis vehicle replaced my Toyota 4x4 which I put 220,000 miles on. It had to be good to get me to replace that Toyota and I have not been disappointed. The power from the six cylinder is very suprising. You step on the gas and the acceleration will press you back into the seat. Looking forward to putting 200,000 miles on it. I put 1000 miles on it in a flash it is fun to drive.

Love my new Laredo - 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By Vickylpt - November 24 - 10:00 amI have put almost 5000 miles on this new jeep and I love it!!! I had a 2000 Cherokee Sport that I thought rode like a wagon, but this GRAND LAREDO is a very nice, smooth ride. My mom has a Trailblazer and I like my Jeep FAR, FAR better!

2nd Grand Cherokee & Very Happy - 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By tjpultz - August 30 - 10:00 amThis was an upgrade from the 95 model of the same vehicle. The 95 was a great car other than it suffered from some reliablity issues. This time around I got the extended warranty just in case, but so far no problems and Im totally pleased with it. Build quality seems great and the design and features are top notch. Very confortable and powerful and best looking midsize SUV on the road and off.
