For 2003, the Jeep Grand Cherokee has received refinements that improve its ride and handling. The suspension features reduced pressure shocks and the brake master cylinder output has been increased to improve brake pedal feel. There are also new brake calipers and a revised steering gear torsion bar. Available trims have been narrowed from five to three; the Sport and Special Edition trims have been discontinued. Standard on 2003 Laredo models is a new high-back cloth seat. Finally, in all Jeep Grand Cherokee interiors, a new cubby bin for holding sunglasses or cellular phones has been added to the instrument panel, replacing the ashtray.

By tony - January 14 - 2:00 amMy 2nd Jeep, 1st was regular cherokee I gave to my son. Outstanding ride, & luxury unbeleivable in a true off road vehicle. Shoped around and compaired ALL others including KIA (lowend) to Lexus (higher end) anywhere within $15k of price. Best Buy on the market. Very Impressed.

I Love my Jeep! - 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By Alan Young - December 21 - 2:00 amI love everything about my Jeep Grand Cherokee. (except the gas milage, I get 17 mpg with the 6 cyl. The way my body fits the drivers seat, the way when I put my elbows on the center counsel glove box and the door panel while Im driving the balance of the positioning of my body is perfect. The use of the controls the visability are great. I love the braking system and I like how it steers. Most of all at every angle this jeep is beautiful to look at. I am proud to say I have never had a problem with my jeep and the dealership is 2nd to none. I hope your 05 is as good as your 03. Alan Young

By rrw - September 22 - 10:00 amMy experiences with Jeep Grand Cherokees have been good ones. Before buying the 2003 model, I compared the features of the Grand Cherokee with other SUVs in its class. The Jeep had many more features and nicer interior/exterior for the money compared with other SUVs the same size. In my opinion, the ride is smooth, reliability is good, passenger space is excellent. The 2003 model has a bigger storage space than the older models. This is my second Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Im very pleased with both models.

By EMANUEL GARRETT - September 20 - 10:00 amMY TRUTHFUL experience with this vehicle has been very favorable thus far as I have not encountered any problems of any significance as of today -5-11-03 (nearly 6 months after purchase).I have no complaints about the ride as I have confidence the vehicle will navigate any driving situation I might encounter during my driving experiences on the job which includes going up hilly terrain to remote telecommunications tower sites when required to .Driving the vehicle does not seem to create any unneccessary effort as it is a plain pleasure for me to steer it and make the vehicle perform as I want it to.

By Its a Yeep, Yimmy - September 18 - 11:13 pmI have had my 03 GC Laredo for about 3 and 1/2 years, and I love it every second. I blame the Jeep for 1 incident... The coolant sensor went, which left the coolant fan running after I shut the car off. I came out the next morning to a dead battery. I have also fixed the front 2 power windows, but I cant blame the Jeep. I locked my keys inside and tried a jimmy, but I think I messed something up. I also need to fix the power seat switch. It works in all directions, except backwards. Again, I think it has something to do with the snow I had to scoop out of the inside of the car when the window was broken in the down position during winter. I love my Jeep!

Only American product I would buy - 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By Yipeiokyay - June 1 - 3:43 pmWhen my PT Loser died I jumped on a great deal for this used 03 Laredo. The best decision I ever made. My son has a 97 with 170K and loves it and with the expected life of this SUV being around 500K I think we both will be driving them for years to come. We took both of them out in the snow the other night and had a great time. I cant wait to get it in the mud this Spring.

Best of the SUVs - 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee

We have 6500 miles on it and have taken the vehicle over the WV, VA and NC mountains on 3 trips without one problem. Around town our SUV responds to stop and go traffic nicely. Our Grand Cherokee Overland held the road in all types of weather. The engine and transmission were flawless. The seats were very comfortable for long distance driving. The cockpit is well laid out too.

Second Grand Cherokee - 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee
By Lowellp - January 18 - 10:00 amThis is our second Grand cherokee, the first was the 4.0 ltr. and I must say the limited 4.7 V8 is worlds apart. It is getting better fuel economy and works less hard moving this heavy vehicle. We test drove many other SUVs but came back for another one. New competitors vehicles may look sporty or trendy but living with and sitting inside, this is the vehicle for us.
