Overview & Reviews
Isuzu juggles minor standard and optional equipment for 1999, making items from last year's S V6 preferred equipment package standard on the LS, and last year's LS equipment standard on a new trim level called LSE.
- Stylish interior, rugged exterior, roomy rear seat.
- Disconnected steering feel, lousy 4WD button placement.

1999 Rodeo - 1999 Isuzu Rodeo
By Sunny - March 5 - 11:16 amI purchased my Rodeo new and used it as my main vehicle for 8 years. One of the main things I was looking for was the ability to transport my bicycle inside the SUV, yet have a mid- sized vehicle that was easy to handle. The Rodeo has met every expectation and at 112,000+ miles, I am still very happy with it. I have honestly not kept up with the scheduled maintenance as the Isuzu dealerships come and go in our town, but have done the general oil changes, etc. There have been very few problems with it, and the only real negative is that it only gets about 15 - 18 miles a gallon at this point.

Like brand new - 1999 Isuzu Rodeo
By Tommy C - January 24 - 10:00 amI have used this vehicle for the last 3 1/2 years for my sales calls. It has performed flawlessly. Ive changed the oil every 3000 miles, added gas and tires when needed and finally put on a set of brakes at 132,000 miles. I just got it back from the mechanic for some routine maintenance and the only thing he changed was the serpentine belt, the original were still in great shape. See if your Doctor tells you that on your next checkup.

Great Vehicle - 1999 Isuzu Rodeo
By rabid_girl - January 17 - 10:00 amI love this vehicle. It is a 99 with almost 100,000 miles and not a lick of trouble yet. It rides well, has excellent pickup (I love stomping on the gas and passing at 85), and I get 20 miles per gallon with the V-6. It was unbeatable for the price. Im gonna drive this car until the wheels fall off.

These trucks are undervalued - 1999 Isuzu Rodeo
By rboschen3 - February 16 - 2:00 amThis is my second Isuzu truck. The only thing Ive had to deal with so far was a failed hydraulic pump for the ABS (brake system), NOT a safety issue and was replaced for free under recall. If you have a 1999 Rodeo have the dealer check to see if you have an effected vehicle (they do it by VIN #) and have the thing replaced before it goes out (its a freebie to you), Isuzu did not and probably will not send out recall notices on this because it is not a safety issue. So much for the FYI, overall Ive been very happy with this vehicle.
