Overview & Reviews
Infiniti is an upscale automaker from Japan. Though most of its products are related to those sold by parent company Nissan, Infiniti looks to achieve a premium status by infusing its cars and SUVs with spirited performance and additional luxury content.
The brand was launched for the 1990 model year. Its purpose back then, as it is now, was to create premium vehicles for America that wouldn't have otherwise fit in with Nissan's more mainstream image. This was the same tactic Honda used for the creation of Acura, and Toyota for Lexus. In its first full year, Infiniti started out with two vehicles, the Q45 sedan and the M30 coupe and convertible. The compact, entry-level G20 was introduced soon after.
As the 1990s moved along, Infiniti slowly added more vehicles to its lineup. The Q45 luxury sport sedan found its market. The car's 278-horsepower V8 was class-leading in its day. On top of that, the Q45 offered cutting-edge technology such as an active suspension system. By the late '90s Infiniti had rolled out the QX4, an SUV based on the Pathfinder. The sport-ute's truck platform gave it a leg up in off-road performance relative to competing car-based SUVs.
Although Infiniti's sales grew steadily, the marque still fell short of both Lexus and Acura in terms of popularity. The early 2000s saw Infiniti making a determined effort to sharpen its focus and upgrade its products. But it was the introduction of the entry-level, midsize G35 in 2003 that finally gave Infiniti the boost and identity direction it sorely needed. Based on the same platform underpinning the Nissan 350Z, the G35 coupe and sedan met with immediate sales success. The FX35/FX45 soon followed -- a crossover SUV that provided spirited acceleration and sports-car handling with the utility of a wagon.
Today, Infiniti's lineup has expanded to include the G (now a sedan, coupe and convertible) and FX as well as the midsize M sedan, the EX small crossover SUV, the JX midsize crossover SUV and the QX large SUV. Infiniti has also introduced the M Hybrid sedan, its first hybrid vehicle. No matter the model, shoppers will find Infiniti's latest vehicles to be focused on luxury, sport, quality and value.

Infiniti G35 Coupe - 2004 Infiniti G35
By hookdrivr - July 10 - 10:00 amI have driven this car for 2200 miles and I still have an ear to ear grin on my face. Acceleration is smooth as is the ride. Great exhaust note! Brakes are tremendous, though you have to be smooth on the application as they can be touchy. I should have gotten the 6speed manual trans as I find myself using the manual shift feature all of he time.

DO NOT overlook the Q45 - superior !! - 2002 Infiniti Q45
By JRow - July 6 - 9:20 pmWe looked at all the competitors - BMW 7 series, Mercedes 500, Lexus 430, the Infiniti Q45 outperforms in all aspects: fit & finish, 340 HP engine, birds view navigation, voice recognition, rear seat reclines! and rear seat controls, you must see and drive this car before you make a decision.

Infiniti QX 50 classy luxury SUV - 2017 Infiniti QX50
By Rhonda B - July 6 - 5:31 pmI own a 2017 Infiniti QX 50 midnight garnet color with the wheat interior aluminum black inlay I decided to upgrade from my 2014 Honda accord sedan. I am so glad that I did this vehicle is my first SUV and its the perfect size for me to drive. Enjoy driving this luxury classy SUV. I have the V6 3.7 base model which has everything I want it at the price I wanted to pay and yes it does have a 6 speaker Bose system. Very comfortable ride in the driver seat passenger and the backseat is very roomy and comfortable The storage area in the back is small but Im fine with that I highly recommend the Infiniti QX 50. All the interior details are great

wished i lived in california - 2003 Infiniti G35
By Dave Archibald - July 4 - 2:00 amthis car is fabulous on dry roads or wet, but dont try taking it in the snow. Rear wheel drive while great for the performance end is difficult in winter conditions. The latest review was listed in October 2003, want to see from December. This is my wifes car, but we both love to drive it. When it snows however we gotta leave it in the garage. Im actually upset with Infiniti now that the AWD version hit the market. Its for sure the AWD was in production when they introducded the G35 but the dealers really played dum!

Glad I bought the G - 2012 Infiniti G Sedan
By tkstten - July 3 - 12:00 pmSo I test drove many vehicles before selecting the G37X with Sport, premium, nav: BMW 3 Series was a great ride, but the RFTs scare me & the value is not great. BMW X3: great ride but I went for smaller. Mercedes GLK: same deal. Volvo S40 was nothing special. The luxury of the G series is pretty outstanding, the handling is on par with BMW 3 series. No complaints at all except MPGs. If I could go back, I would choose the G25 & improve the MPG.

is this luxury or sport - 2011 Infiniti FX
By inflex - July 2 - 5:29 pmgot the 2011 fx35 for 50 grand. The color is nice, interior is nice, the could have included wood trim, the wheels look small 18" of course, couldve made 20", wanted me to waste 3000 more grand for them. The car has amazing pe rformance, plus its very fun to drive. The 11 speaker Bose system is okay, it works great in the front, but i wonder if the rear back speakers arent supposed to work loud. The seats are comfy. The passenger has on 8 way instead of 10. Passenger has no lumbar support whatsoever. There is no 6 cd changer. No rain sensing wipers. The ride is smooth, with nice exhaust noise from the back. I dont know if the car has active head restraints with adaptive front headlights.
