Overview & Reviews
Infiniti is an upscale automaker from Japan. Though most of its products are related to those sold by parent company Nissan, Infiniti looks to achieve a premium status by infusing its cars and SUVs with spirited performance and additional luxury content.
The brand was launched for the 1990 model year. Its purpose back then, as it is now, was to create premium vehicles for America that wouldn't have otherwise fit in with Nissan's more mainstream image. This was the same tactic Honda used for the creation of Acura, and Toyota for Lexus. In its first full year, Infiniti started out with two vehicles, the Q45 sedan and the M30 coupe and convertible. The compact, entry-level G20 was introduced soon after.
As the 1990s moved along, Infiniti slowly added more vehicles to its lineup. The Q45 luxury sport sedan found its market. The car's 278-horsepower V8 was class-leading in its day. On top of that, the Q45 offered cutting-edge technology such as an active suspension system. By the late '90s Infiniti had rolled out the QX4, an SUV based on the Pathfinder. The sport-ute's truck platform gave it a leg up in off-road performance relative to competing car-based SUVs.
Although Infiniti's sales grew steadily, the marque still fell short of both Lexus and Acura in terms of popularity. The early 2000s saw Infiniti making a determined effort to sharpen its focus and upgrade its products. But it was the introduction of the entry-level, midsize G35 in 2003 that finally gave Infiniti the boost and identity direction it sorely needed. Based on the same platform underpinning the Nissan 350Z, the G35 coupe and sedan met with immediate sales success. The FX35/FX45 soon followed -- a crossover SUV that provided spirited acceleration and sports-car handling with the utility of a wagon.
Today, Infiniti's lineup has expanded to include the G (now a sedan, coupe and convertible) and FX as well as the midsize M sedan, the EX small crossover SUV, the JX midsize crossover SUV and the QX large SUV. Infiniti has also introduced the M Hybrid sedan, its first hybrid vehicle. No matter the model, shoppers will find Infiniti's latest vehicles to be focused on luxury, sport, quality and value.

wheeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - 2003 Infiniti G35
By stephz - March 25 - 2:00 amThis will be my 5th Nissan/Infiniti vehicle and Ive loved every single one of them. First, the engine packs a punch-no longer do I have trouble merging on the on-ramps.Second,its a bargain! It has been compared to Lexus and BMWs and it is at least $6,000 less AND has MORE horsepower than they do.Third, the service is fantastic. Sadly my car was hit 3 days after purchasing the vehicle and I brought it back to the Harte Infiniti body shop and they fix it up good as new in only 3 days time with a busy schedule. They matched the paint perfectly.

Love this car! - 2005 Infiniti G35
By Lauren B - March 19 - 9:03 amI LOVE my G. I have had no problems at all with this car and Im nearing 30,000 miles. The seats are very comfy and the car is roomy enough even for my 220 lb, 6-foot-2 husband. It handles well and I drive like a demon. The gas mileage isnt great but Ill take it for the performance. I put 2 MTX 10" subwoofers in the trunk (and an 800 watt amp) a year ago with still not a vibration from anywhere. The things I would change are minor. I get many compliments on my G and would recommend to anyone - for the price I dont think you can beat it.

Performance and Value at its best - 2005 Infiniti G35
By BlackG - March 17 - 8:20 amThe 6MT G35 coupe has the perfect balance of luxury and performance. You can easily cruise around the city with the quietness and quality feel of luxury with a nice low hum of the exhaust reminding you that there is an animal inside when pushed. The car is smooth but can be rough at times (sport- tuned suspension and 19" rims) but I love the feel of the road, I feel so connected. The engine response is immediate and braking is superb. Handling is on par with the best in its class. Dont expect this car to have the luxury feel of a Lexus (interior- wise and quiet) it wasnt design that way and Infiniti did a great job balancing both performance and luxury. Its all about the experience.

Infiniti Q45 Near Perfect - 2004 Infiniti Q45
By Orlando - March 16 - 11:10 amIve owned over a dozen cars in the last 30 years, but NONE come close to being as near perfect as my 2004 Q45. The power, handling, features, quality and realibilty far exceed anything Ive ever owned before. And that includes my Mercedes.

Excellent car with amazing performance - 2016 Infiniti Q50
By Red - March 14 - 5:01 pmMy car is fully loaded with all options available. The car has an amazing acceleration and no Turbo lag whatsoever. I am getting used to the DAS system and dont mind at all. The only complaints I have is no Android Auto or Apple Carplay which is ridiculous nowadays and no ventilated seats. This car is flying under the radar and not too many people know about it and I like it. So far no mechanical issues but my mileage is still low. Gas mileage is a crappy 20 mpg, however, I think its worth the fun.

Awesome, Get Yourself One - 2009 Infiniti G37
By Gregnice23 - March 14 - 4:33 amThis is my first entry level luxury car and I must admit I am glad I chose this rocket ship. The G37 is gorgeous, has ridiculous power, handles awesome and is a stunner to look at. I forgot to mention I saved at least 100 in lease price compared to 4 cylinder audi, and also way more than 100 for a 335 bmw. The interior is amazing, the drive is comfortable and the power is insane. The AWD is incredible you can do 70 mph off the highway without hearing a thing. Its just an incredible machine.G37 4ever.

Nice ride - 2003 Infiniti M45
By Rnewell - March 8 - 2:00 amI was surprised to read the knocks on the body style. I added a spoiler and tinted windows and in the first week was stoped and told how nice the car looked. The best part in the performance the car is a rocket on wheels. As a prior BMW 540 owner I think this is just as fun to driver with a much more reasonable price.

Comfort and leisure! - 2006 Infiniti G35
By The Metcalfes - March 5 - 2:00 amThe G-35 Coupe is one of the most impressive cars I have ever driven. It handles like a small sports car with the acceleration of a 8 cy. luxury. Long trips are extremely comfortable in the seats and the sat. radio, Bluetooth, and keyless entry system is amazing. This car is the sport luxury youve always dreamed of. Go on, make your daddy jealous!
