I30 - 2000 Infiniti I30
By patmcc - December 19 - 10:00 amAfter owning BMWs and Acuras for the 15 prior years I decided to look at the Maximas and I-30s along with the Acura. The I-30 was the top choice and continues to live up to my expectation. So much so that my husband purchased a 2001 QX4 14 months later.

Infiniti I-cellent - 1999 Infiniti I30
By i30TX - December 13 - 11:43 amThis is an excellent car--is very reliable, is extremely luxurious and extremely fun to drive. Right now Im at 131,000 on my 1999 touring model-- this car can easily go another 160-170k without any problems. Maintenance and gas (ALWAYS USE PREMIUM IN YOUR I) can be a bit expensive, but the upkeep is a small price to pay for such an otherwise flawless machine.

U.S. Market Nissan Cefiro - 1999 Infiniti I30
By newdriver - November 13 - 6:03 amI love this car so much! Infiniti dealerships know how to treat their customers right. I would definitely recommend this as a great, reliable used car to anyone looking to spend under $10,000. I managed to get a standard model with moonroof and homelink (garage opener) for less than $12,000. Some people might not like the fact that it is derived from the Nissan Maxima, but its an excellent vehicle so thats a good thing! This is the second car that I have owned and I am NOT rich... If you are looking for an inconspicuous entry- level luxury 4DR, then this is a really good choice and has great reliability, features, and performance. Nissans VQ engine is the best in the business!!!

Best car I ever owned. - 1998 Infiniti I30
By allanc1 - November 3 - 3:48 pmI purchased my 1998 I-30 in 2002, as a used car with 40K miles on it. I now have 297,600 miles on it. Outside of normal maintenance such as tires and brakes, I replaced the alternator once and the battery once. I change the oil every 3000 miles or as close as possible. It is the best purchase I ever made (and trust me, I have purchased some dogs over the years). I wish I had another just like it.

choice machine - 1999 Infiniti I30
By kristian tower - October 25 - 2:00 amI have recently purchased the "limited" version of the 99 I30. This vehicle looks very sleek and the ride is extremely comfortable. There is great value in buying this car used with low mileage. Others think the car costs much more than it actually did. The gas mileage leaves a bit to be desired, but the comfort and look make up for it plus more.

Good Car For The Money! - 2000 Infiniti I30
By Jason - October 1 - 10:33 amI turned in my 2005 Infiniti FX 35 for the Infiniti I30t with 65335 miles (Nov. 28, 2009). I was impressed with the handling and comfort. However, still adjusting to the "low" height and sports car feel.

Best Value on the Road - 1999 Infiniti I30
By 140000 and more - September 26 - 3:23 pmOwned for 5 years and 140K. I have replaced an alternator only. Now have 200k. Mileage is 25-27 with mostly hwy and some city. Reliability has been excellent. I drove a similar maxima 1996 until 248K when I was rear ended. This car is unbelievable for quality cost, mileage, comfort and reliability. I paid 9,200 in 2003 for this car with 62k. I plan on driving it until 300k. I should reach it in 3 years. I dont understand peoples comments on this site. I love my wifes vehicle (Toyota Sienna), but I have replaced a couple of sensors, timing belts and etc. On this car, I have never replaced CV, (There is not belt), catalytic, A/C, or Trans. This car has a less than 5 cents/mile cost.

Creature comfort - 2001 Infiniti I30
By jbp - September 13 - 2:00 amExcellent and reliable vehicle but definitely not in the luxury class. Suspension is very stiff; with 3 ladies (not large) in the back seat, it sounds as if the springs have hit the stops and it bottums out. AC should have dual control for front passenger comfort and should have rear outlet. Sun shield in rear window is excellent idea and functional. Have had the car 18 months but am considering the Lincoln Continental for creature comforts and reliablility.

Infiniti 2000 I130 Touring - 2000 Infiniti I30
By PJ Mcewan - July 20 - 8:30 amI thought this car would be like wearing sturdy shoes, good for me but no fun. I was wrong. After 7 years of driving, I still love this car. It is mannerly, strong, reliable, actually fun to drive, delivers power as needed, and the styling actually looks good to me now. I guess true friends always look attractive.
