  • This is one great ride - 1999 Infiniti I30

I had been looking for my next used car from my usual list - honda, toyota, subaru, etc. when I spied a 96 I30 on the lot. I had never owned a Nissan product, but really liked its lines, so I took it for a ride. It was love at first ride. I ended up buying a 99 Touring and really love it. It has 114,000 miles but drives like new. The drivetrain is quiet and smooth, yet packs some real get-up-and-go power. In the 3,000 miles Ive logged, the oil level has not dropped so much as a hair. Mileage is consistently 22 MPG using regular gas and 70% backroads, 30% highway. Im not a rich man, but feel like one when Im driving it. The nicest car Ive owned.

  • Dont judge this book by its cover ... - 2001 Infiniti I30

My I30 has an exterior look of "your fathers Oldsmobile". However, it also has excellent acceleration and braking, a smooth powerful engine, superb interior controls, awesome BOSE sound, and rock-solid reliability. It was rated a Consumer Reports automotive "Best Buy" for a reason. Im convinced that the only reason that it doesnt cost alot more is that Infiniti marketing is so bad.

  • I love this car - 2001 Infiniti I30

Ive had this car close to 4 years, bought it used. Almost 100K miles on it now. Rides like brand new. Talked to a car salesman today and he said that these cars start running their best at 100K and I believe it. You cant even tell the car is on. I have been tempted to get something newer but I just cant trade my baby in. Best car Ive ever owned.

  • Best luxury value - 1998 Infiniti I30

I purchased this vehicle 4 years used with 48,000 miles on it. Have never had any problems except I had to replace a driverside side airbag which was not covered under warranty. It simply amazes me that the car runs perfect all the time. Its very roomy and gets excellent gas mileage. Id buy another used Infiniti in a heartbeat (without any extended warranties).

  • good deal - 2001 Infiniti I30

I purchased my I30 at a friends lease termination. I got a very good deal. I graduated to this v6 and have really enjoyed the additional power vs my v4 Toyota. The car handles well and is quick. My biggest criticism is that the ride is rough. Its like I can feel every change in the roads surface. Also, there seems to be a whistle of air, the origin of which I cannot determine. I like the sun visor feature which allows you to block out the sun coming from the rear window, with just the touch of a button. I think it is stylish and still looks good among newer cars. The ABS is good but my Subaru Outback rides better and has better brakes.

  • will buy another - 1998 Infiniti I30

I bought a 98 i30 with 93000 miles in 2004. As of Aug. 2008 It has 203,000 miles I have not had to do any repairs other than brakes and tires. This is an excellent car. Runs great, and rides even better.
