This Year's Model Updates:

The G35 is Infiniti's new entry-level luxury sport sedan. Aimed at buyers who would otherwise choose an Audi A4, BMW 3 Series or Lexus IS 300, the G35 offers impressive performance and comfort for a price that's less than most of the competition's.

Pros:
  • Powerful V6, balanced and capable handling, roomy cabin, reasonable price.
Cons:
  • No manual transmission available yet for the sedan, average interior material quality.

  • Acura TL S-Type? Not even close... - 2003 Infiniti G35

well maybe that is a stretch as the TL is a fine vehicle and a good value. But the G35 looks classier, drives nicer, has a better sounding Bose sound system, and brakes that are truly awesome. I admit I liked the "sound" of the TL engine better under full throttle (TL sounds more muscular), but Im not out to be noticed so no big deal there. Bottom line is I got all the bells & whistles...Nav, leather, sports suspension, winter package, Xenon lights, etc and got it for thousands less than the BMW, Lexus or Benz. Total cost was fractionally over $39K and well worth it!

Im 57 years old and have owned 22 cars, and my 2003 Infiniti G35 is by far the most complete vehicle Ive ever owned. It is the perfect combination of all the luxury one would want (without getting silly) and the kind of performance and handling that makes any trip - from a run to the grocery store to an Interstate cruise - something to look forward to. I love this car!

  • Runs great but eats gas - 2003 Infiniti G35

I have every package other than the winter package on this car. This is an awesome performing car, poor gas milage in city - about 14 gpm and have no idea why. Stereo is only okay. I skips all burned CDs even after having it replaced by the dealership. The tires stink. I had a blow-out after 800 miles. Instrument pannel color is orange and very difficult to read during the day. It reflects on the windshiled at night. Manaual clock and steering wheel controls are not lit up. The window controls are hard to reach and so is the button to open the trunk. The glove compartments and trunk are a bit too small. I would not purhcase the G35 again.

  • Great Car..YES....Flawless ..NO... - 2003 Infiniti G35

G35..This car is one super engine, it flies. Just drive it. The handling is better that 98% of cars on the road but I still think the BMW 330 is better. The only real knock I had on this car was the interior. The G35s materials looked cheap, lay out was not luxury. I didnt like the amber backlighting. The windows pod should be moved it pressed against my knee. Nice to have the gauge pod move with the wheel though. Price...Sweet deal here, The 330 may be nicer but not 8K nicer.

  • BMW, time to get your R&D to work 24 hrs - 2003 Infiniti G35

I own a Q45. My wife owns a 02 BMW 325 convertible. I took the test drive of the G35. front exterior: great rear exterior: suits G35 coupe better. The inline-6 BMW engines are the smoothest. But the 3.5 VQ series engine of the G35 can rival the smoothness. But powerwise, definitely the 3.5 larger bore engine gets the nod. 3 series is better than G35 in 3 points: 1. steering feel, very tight and precise. 2. 3er is lower, looks wider and very firm and definitive suspension. 3. The seats are real ugly and unsupportive for a sports car. Take 350zs seats.

The Road & Track sport sead shoot out got me interested and everything I checked out about the car was impresive. I like the car very much and comparing it to my last new car - a 98 528i its better in everyway and lots more fun!

My Infiniti Number 7 and the very best yet. Fun to drive is better than my 00 Vette and much less attractive to the local police. Great Road Mannors in every condition Ive put it through. My daily driver is an I-30, the G-35 is my wifes and Im attempting to get her to love the luxury ride of the I-30 but with no luck as yet. Heck, Ive even offered up the Vette and still not a sale on my part.

  • Finally, a better choice than the BMW 3 - 2003 Infiniti G35

I was all set to get another BMW 3 because my wife & I LOVED that car & no other car seemed to compare. But the 3 was tight on space especially with a baby. The G is larger inside than a BMW 5. It also bests the 330i in HP & performance. To BMWs credit their inline 6 is the smoothest 6 around. & I still dont know how theyre able to combine great handling & ride. No one does suspensions better than BMW, but the G came mighty close. Add the standard features & for once a desirable premium package w/o alot of unwanted features (Im not spending extra for cosmetic wood). My old BMW was feeling like a stripper after I got my G.

  • Dont buy! - 2003 Infiniti G35

After owning this vehicle, (2nd owner) for 3 years I have replaced the whole braking system 3 times, the stereo console quit which had to be replaced at $1000 and then I now have to replace the whole engine at 140,000 km. For a luxury car this is the absolute crap. I will never buy Nissan/Infinity again. Inifinti customer service is a waste of time. Dont Buy!
